With the addition of a few more furbabies in the house...we needed to add an addition to the lonely shelf and upgraded to a duplex.Doing research and reading reviews, we narrowed down our search and eventually picked this one up. Seemed like a good risk and would fill the many issues we had with a single window and many cats trying to squeeze into the one shelf.As you can see, the one cat is loving the perch on the top...on a prime day, 4 or even 5 cats will be all around there...two on top, one in the middle, and our old one with some others. they all can huddle around and watch the humming birds and just bask in the morning sunlight.We had our doubts about the suction and it holding up...but it performing GREAT! holding all their weight and no issues of coming off or loose.easy to install...and has been ticking off all the boxes...highly recommend this product

For the sake of space, we decided to take down our three level cat tree and switch to this. We have two cats, 1 Medium/Large and 1 Small. They love to climb and used to live in the previous tree 75% of the time. They love to sleep on this, we usually come home to find one or both of them napping here. At first it was always one on top and one in the inside compartment, but as of late they've been sharing the top level.We installed this on our sliding backyard door where the door tends to be opened at least twice a day. Because of its placement we have had issues with the suction cups. We usually expect one cup to give way about once every two weeks, that door does get slammed shut and I can see where the constant moving and vibration would cause the suction cups to disengage. Even then with a cup falling, its very sturdy and doesn't really sag under the cats weight.The one thing that worries me is the jump onto the unit, the unit is extremely sturdy to have cats flinging all of their body weight on it various times a day, but in the beginning when they were still getting accustomed to it there were a few misses and very heavy landings. It'd be nice if there was some kind of stair or pole for the cats to get on, rather than the leap, but I can understand how that would just take up space. Putting it closer to ground level or a nearby perch/jumping point may be better for your cats.

I've purchase a few K&H products now, and they have all been high-quality. This product was no different.Getting the one negative out of the way: the suction cups can be a pain to align. If you're doing this alone, prepare for it to take slightly longer than you would expect.The townhouse is HUGE. I have pretty large windows and the product takes up most of the space. With that being said, it's pretty easy to fold-away if needed (to put blinds down, etc). Just detach the bottom cups.Beyond that, I have nothing but positive things to say. My cats absolutely love it (once they got used to traversing it). Both of them sleep, nap, and play in it and I've noticed no issues with sturdiness or fraying. They previously fought over a single hammock, but now they both enjoy the window!

I purchased this because my cats loved the single one I purchased, so I wanted to get them one where they could all 3 sit at the same time.I wasn't too sure about the suction cups at first, the unit made a lot of scary noises when they'd get on it, but maybe the material was just stretching out after being packed away. IDK, but it hasn't fallen and at multiple time I have two cats on the top shelf. But for some reason they do NOT go on the lower shelf...unless I put treats in there. No one goes in there to relax. lol.Minor negatives:I wish there was an option to be able to open it up a little more without compromising the integrity of the unit overall. I was looking if I could cut and velcro or sew something to make the access into the bottom more comfortable or easier for them, but so far no brilliant ideas on my part. lol.Top portion is already saggy, I think could have been a bit stronger/firmer.But overall I would say this is a good unit for multiple cats.

The first cat window seat we tried was not K&H. It fell to the floor in the first 2 days (no one was injured but we were pretty scared) and we swore never again. Fast forward a few years: We bought this double decker cat window seat ... we followed the directions for cleaning the window and molding the suction cups .... and it stuck! And it keept on staying stuck!It's been 2 years and we're still 1000% happy with this (and the other 2 that we bought from K&H). You can see in the first pic, that's roughly 45 pounds of cat (2 on the top and 1 on the bottom) - safe and sound! This window seat is almost never unoccupied =^..^=One small caveat: Every suction cup will fail, eventually, and we knew that when we bought this window seat. After we installed it, we added some extra wire supports to the frame and secured them to 2 screws we put above the window moulding (see the 2nd pic). We figured we'd be re-attaching the suction cups all the time, but as long as the seat didn't fall, we'd deal with it. As it turns out, the K&H window seats are so good, the cats are in them all the time and we've only had to re-attach the suction cups a couple times (the cats don't even notice because of the extra wire supports).

The suction is great, it fell down once after 2 months and I just cleaned the window again and wiped of the cups and it’s like brand new.

Muy fácil de instalar, bastante resistente y a mis gatos les gustó mucho. Pasan casi todo el día ahí. Soporta muy bien a gatos grandes, uno de mis gatos pesa 6.5 kgs y la otra 3.5. No pierde estabilidad cuando se ponen a jugar dentro y encima de él. Muy recomendable.
