These remodel can lights should be the new standard by which all manufacturers should follow
I have been installing recessed lighting for over 35 years and these are by far the easiest remodel fixture I have ever installed. We all have fumbled with stupid clips by various manufacturers for years. The easy clips in these housings are awesome, you can push them in place with one finger. I removed some 3" cans for a customer to install these 4" cans, and after making a cardboard template..."the only thing missing from the box", these new lights slipped right in place with ease. Very bright, nice color light and well made swivel fixture. Plus they are far less expensive than the ones at my local Big Box Depot store. Clearly a great decision to try these from Amazon.

Gorgeous Lights!
Our electrician wasn't "sure" of these when we unpackaged them, but he really liked them once he put them in.And, they look fantastic!EDIT: 6 years in....still 5 stars!!

Great lights!
purchased 8 for my new kitchen remodel and they work great with a lutron diva dimmer switch. no issues with installation and keeps the kitchen nice an cool when on.

I ordered several of these for a major bathroom remodel i'm doing. It took the remodeler a little longer than I thought to get to this room (I'm doing the whole house) and, when the electrician went to install these, one had a broken lamp socket, clearly a defect from the factory. Unfortunately, I was beyond the one month return period by then so I had to eat the cost of a new one. Needless to say, I'm not happy about that and will definitely look to Home Depot or Lowes in the future to buy this type of item as their return policies are far more customer oriented.As far as the lights themselves, they look great! I put these up in a grid pattern in the master bathroom which has vaulted ceilings and, therefore, need the angle adjustment capabilities these offer.Bottom line, make sure you inspect each of these carefully when you receive them.

I liked the look of the lights and that’s why I ordered them but I must say if someone had no experience wiring lights the directions wouldn’t help. There was no template for the hole and the size of the hole was not listed. Thank god for the internet! If you can find a similar looking light with better construction buy that not this.
