Sturdy and Reliable Thread – Not Ideal for Gloves, But Great Quality
I purchased this conductive thread with the intention of adding touch screen ability to my gloves, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for that purpose. However, the quality of the thread itself is outstanding! The thread is thick, sturdy, and didn’t knot or get tangled at all, which made it very easy to work with. It has excellent tensile strength, and the metal layer adheres well to the polymer inner thread. Although it didn’t provide the results I was hoping for with my gloves, I can see how this would be perfect for other E-textiles projects. Highly recommend for those looking for reliable and strong conductive thread!

I'm impressed!
Where most stainless steel thread feels like exactly that, a wire, this does not. It feels like fabric thread. It does conduct electricity though. I've tested it up to 6 watts at 12v for three days straight and it's no worse for wear (pun intended). Looking forward to seeing what I can do with this stuff! Very cool!
