La Rochere 6388.01_482 Coffee Cups, Glass, Clear

These pedestal coffee cups are beautiful and substantial. The glass is perfectly clear. I do have a warning. The description states these are 9 fluid ounce cups.They are NOT! Using a measuring cup, I found they hold 8 ounces. That is right to the top of the rim. It would be very hard to carry these filled to 8 ounces. If you need room for cream/foam, fill to 6 ounces. Having said that, I notice in the brochure that was included with these cups a Napoleon 2 line that looks like there is a mug. I’m guessing that is the one that is 9 ounces.I still love these and I’m very happy with my purchase!

I’m not a person that’s into glassware and such; but I stayed at a country inn, and the owners had these. Fortunately, I thought to look on the bottom to see who made them. I tried Amazon, and there they were!!! They are so cute and extremely well made. I like a glass that’s thick and substantial. I think they last longer, and I like the look. They are a little on the pricey side (for me), but I don’t care because I love them that much.

I’ve had and used a number of glasses, the honeybee ones in particular, by this company. The glasses I received lacked the bottom weight that I’m used to in their glasses. These are super thin and fragile. Just setting them in the sink to clean and one split. I would not recommend, they aren’t at all like their other glasses.

Time for dishes that actually match and I found the PERFECT ones. The weight & quality are excellent, so much better than I expected. Have received so many compliments.
