I got this to drill holes for tree fertilizer spikes. It works really well, but make sure your soil is damp or it will drill down into the ground instead of boring a hole. Made that job a lot easier than my previous methods.

So cool. There's a certain finesse to using it but its awesome. If you use full pressure on the trigger it will blast dirt everywhere but if you just barely spin it it works great and piles the dirt perfectly around the edge of the hole.

I use it around my tomato plants before it rains . Drill four to 5 holes to loosen soil all we get is down pours , lets the water soak in deeper
