I needed a hook to hold the loops at the ends of a curtain tieback and these worked perfectly. Size was exactly as described. Some of the comments said they were smaller than they looked but this is why they give the dimensions so you can look at a tape measure and gauge whether they would work. They are not meant to hold a curtain back. For that you need a much bigger hook. Installation was straightforward. the screws provided are a headless screw. Just screw them into the back of the hook. Mine didn't go quite all the way in but that should not be an issue. next drill the proper size hole. Some have commented that the anchors are flimsy and collapse when hammered in. They work just fine if you drill the correct size hole. Then you screw the hook into the anchor. Mine went all the way to the wall with no issue.

These side hooks look great but installation can be a little tricky. Make sure to use a 7/32 size drill bit when installing the anchors.We tried a standard 3/16 at first but the holes were too small, which ended up making us deform our first set of anchors.

These hold backs are cheap molded plastic. And the installation is terrible. They do not screw into the wall evenly and if you over screw them, they just rotate around and around. So every time I put the curtain tie backs on these hold backs they wobble and turn vertical. Terrible product and misleading description.

A nice heavy metal drapery hook with a beautiful satin black finish. Very easy to install and a major upgrade over the cup looks that the previous owners of our house used for tie backs.
