Little Green Peas (The Peas Series)

My 17-month-old ADORES Keith Baker's Peas books, and Little Green Peas may just be his favorite. The illustrations are sweet, cute, and colorful, and there's so much to discover on every page. Our little guy especially likes to point out the recurring ladybug - a running gag in all of the Peas books. Even the author's biographies at the end of each book are just beyond darling. I highly recommend these books - they are a blast!

Read this to my 2 year old granddaughter when she was recovering from surgery and she was DELIGHTED with the silly and cute peas and finding different ones. I immediately ordered a copy for my grandson in Texas.

Story time is so much fun when any of the Pea books are included. The “Little Green Peas” helped our granddaughter learn her colors & she asks for it almost daily (“Peas...Peas!”) The simple rhymes are fun to read aloud, and the illustrations are clever and very well conceived. The whole series is highly recommended!

My daughter *LOVES* all the Green Peas books. The best part is finding the lady bug on each page! She refers to the books as “lady bug” and every time she sees them she wants to read!

I always gift this book to new moms. It's hilarious for the parents to read and even my kids who are 3,4 and 7 still laugh hard when they read it. The little peas are just so stinking cute and hilarious

I love all The Peas series of books. My grandsons love letters and numbers so both of those books were a big hit. I especially loved that the number book goes up to 100. The artwork is really great and so much detail on each page. We especially enjoyed looking for the ladybug on each page of the color book. I've bought them for my grand nieces as well and they are enjoying the books too! Highly recommend for any baby/toddler.

Humorous, beautiful illustrations, rhymes, and then, on top of it all, teaching the concepts of color, including black and white. What's not to love. Recommend for ages 1 to 6. Keith Baker hits it out of the ball park with these lovable green peas.And added possible plus --- this book might make pea-lovers out of pea-skeptics!

got this for my expecting sister. she calls baby sweet pea so this was fitting. i will get the other books in the 'series' - good for any age really. infant will like colors and when she is 10 months, will be able to find the different 'hidden' items in pictures.

We have all the "pea" books and my son loves them. I'm especially fond of the attention to detail in all the illustrations - fun little things you can point out to your kids that they might not notice. The pictures are very busy, but tastefully done. The rhymes are cute and teach your kids about colours in a fun way.

Book is amazing but The plastic cover was wrecked but it's not a huge deal because i just took it off and the book looks just fine without it.
