Gives the perfect amount of water at the right time. These self watering pots helps plants to thrive while we were away for 2 weeks. If one has the tendency to overwater than these are for you. Especially if you water and your spouse comes behind you and water. These prevent overwatering.

I wanted to get a self watering feature since I travel quite a bit during the summer months and I grow 11 different herbs and veggies on my balcony. For short trips, the self watering aspect works great and is important since some plants need more or less water than others. I was surprised by how much water the plants consumed even during the relatively cool spring days.Unfortunately there is a fatal flaw to the design. Most plants grow their roots quickly and so within a month the water containers had filled up with roots that had worked their way down through the drainage holes. As a result, the plants are essentially drowning and dying (not all, but most). I;m going to try some new plants with the same pots only adding a piece of fabric across the bottom of the soil pot. This will stop the roots from falling through the holes. I will make two small holes for the wicks to go through of course. Hopefully that will get the result I had originally envisioned. Low maintenance plants!Fingers crossed.

These are great for my plants I’m switching from water propagation. They are easy to use, sturdy, and super lightweight. The price is great and they are small but not too small.

These self-watering pots arrived very quickly from the seller. Happy to get them as they were exactly as advertised.We really wanted this sort of product to help with the watering process and not have to worry if we go out of town.There is only one thing I was not pleased about but it is probably the same with all of these things: The drain holes are large enough for pieces of dirt to fall through and into the water.If you want 100% clean water it is probably not going to happen. Maybe a solution to this is to somehow put some cheesecloth to cover the holes.Otherwise, I really like these pots and look forward to having them around the house.

I love this size for my African violets. Perfect to propagate leaves and your starter plants. Highly recommend.

These are great for busy people who don't always remember to water their plants. Fill the bottom reservoir with water and just watch the level of water to know when to refill.

they are great. I drew up and printed a funnel for them as they fit tightly (which is awesome) and its easier for watering. the funnel removes easily, or you leave it in..the pots are great, sturdy, functional.

Mucho mejores de lo que esperaba. Los materiales de buena calidad, el acabado excelente, embonan perfecto y además son lindas. Los orificios de drenaje están perfectamente hechos, son las mejores macetas que he comprado. Pediré más seguramente. El hilo que traen es grueso, pero eso no es problema, usaré hilo más delgado para no mojar demasiado el sustrato de mis violetas, por lo demás son estupendas. Las recomiendo mucho!!
