Great jacket, warm enough for skiing at variations of weather with elegant design and state of the art fabric.

I love the attention to little details. The placement of the pockets is great. It is lightweight yet very warm. The fit is a little smaller than I expected so wearing a sweater might make it too tight but warm enough not to need one. I’m keeping this jacket for a long time.

It's been ten years or so since I purchased a cold weather ski jacket. I have a rain slicker from H/H that is thirty-three years old. Granted, it has seen very little use, but even a design that old has held up well.As to this jacket, I have two cold ski days in it. It wasn't until four hours into the ski day that I realized how comfortable and just-right warm it felt.I ordered a Large, and I am slim/athletic build: 6'1" 165 lbs. Perfect fit.

Decided to give this a try after reading a fantastic review of it at OutdoorGearLab. Haven't tried it in the snow yet but I can say that it looks a dream. I'm short, but wide shouldered and stocky. This jacket fits me really well in the shoulders and through the torso. As advertised, it's a European slender fit. If you want to look like a sack of potatoes, this is not for you.The material feels great, soft to the touch and stretchy. Pockets are well-located and plentiful. The zippers glide smoothly. The color is a pleasant shade of sage and the neon green on the zippers give it some, um, "zip."Pit zips, removable (and capacious) hood, and special insulated pocket touted to keep your cellphone battery going longer are all nice features. There's also a RECCO reflector built in.Looking forward to hitting the slopes in this one!
