adjustable rear sights
the sights appear to be well built and with some filing of the sight, it fit just like it was supposed to. The only flaw that I see in the product is the recessed sight picture. Most target sights have a squared off flat rear site. The Kensight is recessed. For MY way of acquiring a sight picture, the recessed view of the rear sight takes away from my ability to acquire a clear and quick view. Good sight! I just prefer a plain serrated rear block sight versus a recessed. It's all about your own shooting style and vision.

Elevation migrates upward
I had to do some filing on the dovetail, but expected (& needed so sight is tight and does not migrate). Went to the range to sight it in. Had to adjust the sight all the way down for proper elevation at 40 feet, but the darn sight, after the work of installing it, would not hold that position. Screw it down, and a dozen shots later, I was shooting 6 inches too high. Sure nuf, the screw turned & sight migrated up. Problem: sight has two small elevation springs that are too heavy. Fix: permanent LocTite (red) to hold the elevation screw. Side effect: elevation no longer adjustable. Ouch.

Nice 1911 sight
I had mine professionally installed on my Philippine 1911. It's nice having an adjustable rear! Some fitting/file work will be required, this isn't a totally drop in part, as is the case with most dovetail sights. Nice clear sight picture, I really like this.

It's a ELLIASON cut and it's useless for me
The sight I received is not a dovetail sight. It's a ELLIASON cut and it's useless for me.

If you plan to install it on a Wilson Combat be prepared to file ...... and file ........ and file ....... about .025 off of the base. Works great once installed.
