American Bench CraftLeather Front Pocket Minimalist Wallet - Frontier Wallet (Black) - #3

TLDR: Do it. No ragrets!I purchased the brown leather version on May 3, 2017. It arrived in a clean package inside a fitted canvas bag inside a nondescript cardboard box. The leather was well conditioned, and the edges of the wallet were precisely cut and riveted. It had the look and feel of something that was built to last. It seemed as if a lot of pride went into crafting that wallet.Fast forward 3 months, and I somehow creased the lip of the wallet :( The wallet was still functional and attractive, but the bent lip irked me. I wrote to the company (knowing full well that I was way out of Amazon's return policy) to see what would happen. Within a day, someone from American Bench Craft contacted me and offered to repair the crease!!Fast forward another week. They flattened out the crease free of cost, footed the shipping labels, and threw in leather conditioner for good measure. They went so far above and beyond the call of duty that now I'm here writing this review :) I was already satisfied with the workmanship of my purchase, and they clearly did not have to do any of those things. A company that stands behind their product and goes out of their way to make a single customer happy is almost unheard of.*** I purchased this at full price and am writing this of my own volition. (I see a lot of discounted Amazon reviews, so I just thought I'd include this little disclaimer.) And while we're on disclaimers, I'd also like to mention that the repair services were administered by the customer service agent's discretion. I wrote my review based on my experience with the company and their product. I don't guarantee they'll contact you when you're outside Amazon's return policy.

I LOVE this thing. I have been looking for the "perfect" wallet for a while now. I have used about 6 different wallets in my search and this fits all of my needs.First, I love that it's made in the USA by hand!Second, it's beautiful and smells great lolThird, it's the perfect size and offers the best option to carry cards and cash is a small size.If you've been searching for a minimalist wallet trust me to need this. Simple perfect. I need more from this company.

I got this for my husband for his birthday this year and since he refuses to get a wallet this was a good compromise. He has absolutely loved it these past couple of months. It feels and looks like super good craftsmanship and quality and there been no scratches or wear to the leather. You can definitely have a good amount of cards and cash but there’s of course a limit so if you walk around with stacks on stacks this isn’t the product for you. Besides that, I’m really happy with my purchase and so is my husband!

The moment you unpack this beautiful wallet is the moment you know that this is a superior quality item. Similar to older lenses that were just metal and glass, this minimalist wallet is a triumph of craftsmanship. There is something about high quality leather that you just can't compete with in terms of materials - it even gets better with age. I'm expecting this wallet to last me for many years to come. The only dilemma I have is that I feel like I have to upgrade all my accessories to American Benchcraft items to match my new wallet.

It's thin and can carry quite a chunk of bills and credit cards. I would buy for myself, friends, or family. Its tough and the contents are held in check quite well.

This is a great wallet. The leather and craftsmanship are first rate. There is no stitching, just rivets, so it should really hold up. Also, it’s hard to tell from the pictures, but the center slot is divided into 2 sections, which was a really nice surprise.

Great product. Great company. Handmade of fine top grain leather with nothing to wear out. Gets better every day as it breaks in. Local small veteran owned company. Last wallet I will ever own.Only wish I had it 5 wallets ago. Every one who sees it asks about it. All there products are old school handmade quality.👍👍

This wallet is beautiful, functional, well, made, and best of all, MADE IN THE USA!!!! It really is better than I ever anticipated. REALLY well-done!!!
