Security Lock Bracket Compatible with Apple MacBook Pro 13" 2020 & 16" 2020 Models

Being that mac no longer provides a security lock for their Mac Book Pro's This is the best and most practical device to provide some security for your mac. I highly recommend it.

It’s a bit expensive for what it is. It’s also invaluable at the same time. So that’s a wash. I gave it 3 stars because it’s not machines properly. I have one of these on both my 2015 MBP as well as my 2019 MBP and the same issue is present. The wedge still rubs against the laptops frame unless you file it down a little, which is annoying.

This locking feature was easy to install on a MacBook Pro. Though you have to purchase the locking wire separately, this piece seems like it will do the job!

I have been using these on my Macs since they stopped putting Kinsingtons on them. This works perfectly and blends with the Mac, unlike other locks I have seen that look like they are hanging on.

It was between this and another type of lock that goes on in the front by the trackpad. I decided on this because of the better deterrent factor (if the mac was locked in front a potential thief might not know and try to run off with it, likely causing damage to the macbook).Unfortunately, the both screws stripped - the one on the business side before it was even all the way in. Fortunately, I was able to get them both out with a pair of my girlfriends tiny craft pliers and without scratching the macbook at all but it wasn't a real good time trying. The factory screws went went in/out without a hitch. Cheap metal for the lock screws maybe? I don't know but I'm done with it.
