4 solid stars!!
I really enjoyed this book! It's a very sweet forbidden romance (he's her camp counselor), with lots of emotion. I think this book captured the teenage dynamic perfectly. The relationships between the girls in the story, the boy and the girl, the girl and her parents, and among the counselors were all very realistic, and captured the emotions and angst of that age just right. It brought me back to a time in my life that was equally wonderful and horrible. The author also reminded me of the power of young love. The hero in this story is totally swoon-worthy, and is absolutely perfect for the heroine. Although all the girls fall for him, there's much more to him than meets the eye, and he finds what he's looking for in the girl who's different from all the rest. This book covers many topics, including changes in family dynamic (death of parents, step-families, etc.), and teenage bullying. It's very PG, and I think it would be a great book for younger girls, as well as their moms. :)P.S. When the title "clicks" in the story, I got chills! LOVED IT!!

Fun story for all ages
What a fun book to read! As an adult, I truly enjoyed it and I know my teenage daughter would also love it and plan to pass it along to her. I think it truly captured the spirit of teens with family drama, making new friends and falling in love. The main character, Julia, was very real and as a reader you feel sympathetic to her feelings of abandonment and also excited as her new romance heats up. This book could easily be made into a series with future books about Julia or about some of her friends from camp. It's a fast read and a book that's fun for all ages, not just a YA audience.

You don't have to be a teen to enjoy this one!
I'm a huge Dina Silver fan and have read all of her books. I was so excited to hear she'd written another novel, but I wasn't that excited when I found out it was a teen romance novel. Surprisingly I ended up loving this book regardless. Even as a 28 year old I found myself relating to the main character and feeling sorry for her and how other campers treated her. I was hooked the whole time! Once again Dina knocked it out of the park. As always, I'm looking forward to more of her books in the future. Keep them coming!

Lovely and sweet YA.
A lovely & sweet clean read. I loved the characters, especially Jack, and the author's writing. This was my first book by her and I'll definitely be checking out her other works. The epilogue gave us an idea of what happened after summer camp and was nice, but I personally would have liked to see a little more, the metaphorical cherry on top, to give it 5 instead of 4 stars.

Dirty Dancing Redux
This was only the 2nd Dina Silver book I've read. I absolutely loved the other one, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I didn't hate the book -- I just didn't love it. The whole time I was reading it, I kept thinking "Dirty Dancing." That's not a bad thing, because that is one of my all time favorite movies. I can't honestly put my finger on why I didn't love the book, it just fell flat for me. Dina is an awesome author, and I will continue to read her books and look forward to what's next from her!
