Perfect size for 1 or two servings. I use mine for baked pastas, vegetables, chicken and rice, or non-baked items like marinated green beans. Great for microwave foods, too.

I really like this casserole dish because it is great for a one- or two-person casserole or side dish recipe.I quite love it! So easy to store and easy to clean!

Pros. Versatile. I use this glass dish for baking bread, with lid on to retain moisture. It works much like dutch oven but faster (infrared energy can penetrate glass). Also, two of them fit very well in my small oven (10 x 10.6 x 4 inch internal dimensions).Maybe cons. Rather thick glass structure.

Perfect size

This is a small oval covered glass container. I use it exclusively in my microwave to steam vegetables. I had a round container for 30 plus years and it is all etched (it is glass) from so many years of use. I thought this was a round container, so that was a surprise. It is fine - cooks vegetables just the same and works well for 1-2 servings. I found this container to be really expensive for glass and wouldn't buy different sizes to round out my collection because they are not worth the price. It works for the purpose I bought it but clearly overpriced.
