Love the built in USB chargers
Love the built in USB chargers. If you are a household of smart device users (tablets, phones etc.) that require charging and are USB charging capable then this product is for you. If your plugs are near end tables or counters then I would probably not get the model that has the phone holders on the side but opt for the slimmer design of the model without phone holders. This product works great. You gain another outlet plus the two USB charging ports. Installation is a snap. Just remove the wall plate screw on your existing outlet and place this product right over it (with the wall plate still attached) and secure with the included longer screw.Would be nice if the product had a small pocket on top to place the small wall plate screw should you decide to move it and need it later.Charging time for my Samsung Galaxy S3 is respectable. Its been so long since I have used the wall-wart charger that came with it I can't say if this product is faster or slower than the factory charger for my phone. One thing I would recommend is buying an assortment of different length A-Micro USB cables, I have purchased 5 of these outlets (most without the phone holders) and deployed them near end tables in my family room, in my home office and bedroom. Some of my outlets are some distance from my end tables so I have some 10 and 6 foot USB cables. Don't buy cables at your neighborhood best buy etc. as you will pay too much. Amazon should have some good prices on them and I have found a couple of other sites on the Web where you can get 6 foot A to micro USB cable for a buck. Not sure if I can give a competitor's name in the review but just think Jerry McGuire and show me the cables :-).

Very useful and works for high power charging devices (iPads, Nexus 7)
I contemplated buying an outlet with USB plugs that I could install before finishing my basement office, but ultimately decided to try out this external station and have no regrets. This comes with a screw to secure it in place of a wall plate, but I just have it plugged in over the wall plate.Pros:1. High power charging. This works as advertised and powers my iPad (4th gen) and Nexus 7 (1st gen) quickly and simultaneously.2. Lots of outlets. The three plugs and two USB ports are more than sufficient for my needs.3. Phone holders. This is a bit of a novelty that I don't use often, but it's functional and handy if you want a place for your phone while charging.Cons:1. The plug spots are a bit too close. As other reviewers have noted, the middle plug essentially becomes useless if you have anything substantial plugged in either of the outside plugs. Two plugs and two USBs are more than enough for most uses, so this is a minor complaint.2. The outlet hums when charging through USB. It's not loud, but it's definitely noticeable. I wouldn't mention it, except that it worries me slightly to have humming electronics. The outlet doesn't seem to overheat at all or have any other negative issues, so I'm pretty confident that it's working as intended.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this device.

Clean approach to my technology charging mess
Two kids and a wife and it seems we all have too many devices. We dedicated a section of our wet bar (right next to entry door, away from most visitors) to all our technology. We had been using another brand's 6 way charger that also includes 2 USB ports. After needing to buy a new charger every year (short lifespan), I wanted something different.RND Power Solutions Wall StationPros: thinner body than previous named brand wall charger. Loved the concept of flip out phone holders for charging (it was nice to clear some counter space), and the 2.1amp USB charging ports are a huge improvement over 1amp USB seen on other units.Cons: the phone flip out only likes iPhones. Larger Android phones don't fit we'll and seem like it's going to break the plastic holders. Only 3 standard charging openings is limited, plus you might only use 2 of them because of wall charger adapters larger sizes, covering up other openings.Other thoughts: if you place in kitchen and have cabinets above wall adapter, the flip out phone holders will be very challenging to sit phones in. It's almost to the point I won't touch my phone in the flip out holders unless it's critical I do so.

Solid but not perfect
I've owned this item for 9 months now and the quality is solid and the design over all is good. It's not perfect though. The two wing cradles that open up to dock your phones are very useful, but if you have a phone with a huge cover like an otter box, it won't fit. Also any phone too wide won't fit either. It's nice to have 3 standard power outlets, however the plugs are spaced very close together so if you actually use all 3 the middle plug will have to be something narrow and unobstructed by the other 2 plugs. Also, the outlets hug the prongs on the plugs very tightly, and I have managed to damage a charger's adapter unplugging it from this. The adapter broke in half while being unplugged as the prongs wanted to stay in the outlet. This created a very dangerous situation where I had to shut down power at the electrical panel to remove the broken adapter. The USB ports are great too.Overall I would buy this again but be careful with certain charger adapters due to the outlets fitting very tightly.

I like that you can screw this right on to the outlet, so it doesn't pop off when you are unplugging things from the power station. Having the USB plugs are great because I seem to lose those little plug in ones. I actually think one of my cats is hording them all somewhere.

Awesome
I use this daily and have never had any issues. My phone and Apple Watch fit great on the hangers. Only issue is it can slide out of the socket sometimes so you may have to just re-seat it back in the socket if you gets tugged on.

Good but a bit wide.
I've had other RND wall power stations and I have to admit I like the others better. I bought this for the plastic stands, which are good and work as advertised. However, the bar is much wider than the other one and I prefer them to be as compact as possible. But good quality and material as always with RND.
