Italian Gem Dictionary: The World's Favourite Mini Dictionaries

OK. It’s a very small volume, and I should have thought about that. Ideal for travel. But I need it to read ‘Il Capitano’ and it doesn’t have enough of the slang. I would have preferred bigger print too. But for its price, it’s a very good dictionary, just not for me.

Am (much) older student, I bought this to carry to my Italian classes as my other dictionary is too heavy. It is ideal for lessons being small and light with a good selection of common words. There is a middle section of useful phrases and some verb forms, numbers, time and dates at the beginning of the dictionary. Highly recommended.

I have been a Collins gem dictionary user for decades and these little books just keep improving. Crammed with useful reference material it features a hard-wearing flexible plastic cover and should serve you well for years!

I am determined to improve my language skills so after research decided on the Collins books and audio discs.I find the system to be very informative and helpful in its layout, and conducive to my learning.Very good value compared to other language systems.
