Fantastic tool!
I used this tool to replace the hardware on all our kitchen drawers and cabinets (50+ in total). The new pulls required different holes than the ones I was replacing, so I had to align the new fixtures to cover the holes for the existing pulls. Many of the new pulls had 3 screws and getting those properly spaced by measuring and marking each with a square would have taken forever and likely would have resulted in some "misses", given my limited carpentry skills. This tool made the job super easy and relatively fast, and I had no "do overs".I had some hesitation when comparing this tool to other more expensive options due to some of the parts being plastic, but it worked like a champ, and I have zero regrets not opting for one of the more expensive all-metal options. The jigs locked in place and did not move once set and I was able to install all of the pulls of the same size without further adjustment. I will note that rather than measuring the distance between the holes and using the scale on the ruler, I just used the mounting screws for the pulls through the jig holes to align the spacing and lock the jigs in place. To make sure I was properly aligned with the existing holes I needed the new pulls to cover, I inserted a punch through the jig into one of the existing holes, then set the depth gauge and that worked great. The spring-loaded punch made easily identifiable dents that made locating each hole easy. I used a Milescraft Drill Block to make sure I drilled the holes straight and true and I think that helped me keep all holes properly aligned and spaced. Just make sure your drill bit is long enough to go through the Drill Block and the cabinet or drawer.

Works perfectly
At a fraction of the cost of the "pro" True Position version costing 3-4 more, the all-aluminum version works perfectly for my DIY projects as I remodel my kitchen and baths. The only thing really lacking is the hard case, as you get a soft carry case with it. These things save so much time, especially with doors/handles of the same size.

Worth it for the price, with a catch
I chose the plastic hardware jig. I give it a 4-star because no matter how I held it, the punch dents came out slightly crooked 99% of the time. There is an answer to this, use a laser level as well! The jig is awesome because you don’t have to measure the placement of every cabinet pull every single time. I just used a slightly larger drill bit than I probably would’ve to make up for the jig being off a bit (it was only a tiny bit but I was going for perfection bc I didn’t want crooked cabinet pulls), then you can wiggle the handle where you need it to be and tighten it down. If I had it to do again, I would’ve spent the money on the aluminum jig. But my cabinets are beautiful and I have this product to thank for that!

ABSOLUTE GREAT PRODUCT
I opted for the ABS version of this product due to its affordability and because I don’t install door pulls frequently. The result exceeded my expectations. The setup was straightforward and user-friendly. Although the drawers were wider than the ruler’s length, which made the side alignment piece unusable, I simply removed it temporarily. After setting up the jig, I carefully measured to find the drawer’s center and marked it with a pencil on painters tape of the drawer front. I then aligned this mark with the centering triangle on the jig, punched the guide holes, drilled them, and attached the pulls. Once finished, I pulled the tape. Overall, it was a smooth and easy process. I would recommend this jig!

Very handy
Used this to save some money and self install handles on new kitchen cabinets. This made installing them super easy! I was impressed. It’s easy to set and use- and you can just do all the drawers of 1 size and then move to the next size. Keeps it all level and perfect.Recommend

So easy to get job done!
I was installing kitchen cabinet’s door knobs and pulls for the first time. So I researched to find something easy to use and not too expensive. This one looked not too hard to use for me the beginner in this job.Wow I’m so impressed that I was able to position the spots to drill so easily with the help of this device. Drilling holes were so much easier and faster so I drilled 42 holes myself and installed all kitchen and bathroom pulls and knobs in short time.I’d definitely recommend this device.

Not bad, but could be better
First, the center punch is junk. It would not reset the fire mechanism after use, and I would have to fight with it while holding the jig in-place. I had to discard it and use a something else. Second, I found the jig would bend in while holding it in place. This isn't a super big deal, however when you push the center in, it retracts the outer rings just a bit and your drill hole is just a bit too close together. Not a huge issue but most cabinet handles do not flex, and your hole is just a bit too close together. If they where to place a spacer behind the center piece it would remedy this issue. In the end, I mounted 60 handles. I have used several jigs over the years and this one isn't bad. The eyelets did no move when I tightened them down. Set up was not what I would call super easy, but when you learn how to set it up it went pretty smooth. I would recommend first time users practice on some scrap wood before. If it was a twenty-dollar jig, I'd give it five stars, but it's not.

Great for the DYI!!
Best $28.00 I’ve ever spent!Easy to use, made the pull install on my drawers and cabinet doors an absolute breeze!Take your time initially to be sure it’s set for where you want your hardware to be. After that it’s easy! Each door or drawer takes less than five minutes!!

Sent cheaper plastic version not the all aluminium one shown
I bought this tool because it was shown and described as the more expensive aluminium version. What arrived was the cheaper and inferior plastic version.Returned.
