I asked them to put extremely fragile so it wouldn't come with a broken tail like others have said. It came in perfect condition

Bought this figure and another on a whim. It was bigger than expected but SHE LOOKS SO GOOD! All the details are perfect. I'd even keep the back of the box for a nice backdrop.

First off this is a high quality figure, and I love it! My only issue was when I read the reviews I saw about 50 percent of people who bought it had their figure come broken in the mail. And every time it was the tail. So low and behold I opened the box and the tail fell out, clearly snapped off. I am assuming due to the frequency of this happening it’s the way it’s placed in the box or just the tail itself being a bit thin on the section it connects to the figure. I gorilla glued it back on and it’s perfect, can’t even tell it was broken! I did not want to return and order another due to seeing a review where someone did that and they just got another broken one. If it had come whole, I would have given it 5 stars.

The seals on it are barely on, and the corner is ripped. This looks like it was already opened and returned. I got this as a birthday present, so it won’t be opened for a while. I know a lot of people mentioned that the tail came broken, so I hope that isn’t the case and I just got a defective item…

she is prefect and i love her very much but just one thing about her is that her tail broke offbut it was easily fixed so other then that it's a awesome statue

My Amaterasu figure came to me with clear damage on the box and the inside case, and to my dismay she had a busted off tail that was sitting in the packaging!

Ordered this statue from Amazon since they had it at a good price, and both times (had to return the first for broken tail) the statue was defective! What are the odds of getting two pieces of art with the tail snapped off? Amazing.. very disappointed.

I like the figure itself. beautiful sculpt. Some of the seam lines are visible but it built into the model so well that it blends in.The main reason the review isn't higher is the tail broke off during shipping. I'm not sure if it due to shipping company ruff handling or if it was a defect model that was already broken.(It also had a small miss print of black paint on the clouds. Though since it on the back its less noticeable.)(Also a head up to anyone thinking there light in the fire like other models First 4 Figures have. It dose not. It dose have a mirror backing so anyone wanting to add that lighting with some effort and money and technical know how theoretically could light it, but it's not included.)

The figure itself is very lovely. First 4 Figures always put out lovely products. Too bad Amazon sent me one that was broken. The tail was not attached and the flaming wheel portion was also coming loose. The packaging was damaged too and the box itself appears to have been open previously. I was not impressed. I personally couldn't be bothered trying to get a replacement. Too much work. So I ended up glueing all the broken parts back on.
