This item is very easy to pack and take on holiday. Unfortunately the pool was too cold for me to use it….better luck next year

The waist band is adjustable but the strap is very long and floats about in the water.We chose a waistband type instead of arm floats as the little one we’re teaching to swim has type one diabetes and has to wear a sensor and a pump attached to him. They are sometimes on his arms so would interfere with arm floats. When the sensor and pump are on his stomach the waistband float can be worn above or below them. Pleased with the purchase.

I bought this for use with a disabled person I support to go swimming. It really made a difference to how safe we bothe felt in the water

It’s a good belt but the foam is a little too light and so you need more on then some of the others.

This floatation belt comprises of six foam blocks, through which a belt is fed that you can tie around the swimmer's waist, to help them float in the water.The blocks themselves are made from soft comfortable foam; in fact the softness makes me question how durable they'll be. They're not the incredibly stiff dense kind of blocks I remember from my childhood.The belt itself is a just a regular belt and doesn't offer any additional comfort which, considering it's going to be against bare skin for the most part, I think is an oversight for this price and hence I've dropped a star. There's also no storage bag, etc, to keep these in when they're not in use, which I think the asking price of £18 well deserves.So, happy to recommend, but I think it's a little pricey for what it is.
