This is a great movie, if you believe other reviews you are missing out. Remember it is dr suess, it is an interpretation of a short, very short, poem about a cat. You will laugh, so will your kids, mine are 1 and 7 and we love it. Breslin and fanning are incredible and they really look like they had a fun time.Of course if you want high brow poetry then I suggest you stick with Poe, Hardy or Keats, perhaps even Whitman.Watch it over and over again, and then go out and get the book, all of suess poems and have an existential conversion about Horton and a nature of our nature discussion about the grinch.ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF IT

My daughter was heart broken when they took this off Netflix so we had to get the physical copy. Everything worked as expected

The movie itself is genius with its comedy and who can’t love Cat In The Hat?! I bought this on a whim and I am not disappointed at all with it! Love every rewatch.

Movie arrived in good quality--the case and disk were in tact. The quality of the picture in a Blu Ray player was good. If you're in to the stupid kind of comedy movies, like me, then you might think about adding this one to your collection.

This flick is chock full of adult innuendos.Shrek comes to mind as a children's movie that had some adult innuendo, but this takes it to another level. As an adult, you'll find this movie hilarious. Teens will find it funny too. The funniest scenes will go right over kids your young kids heads ( a good thing), but there are plenty of "children friendly" scenes for them to enjoy too.

I don't know what's with all these one star reviews, but it seems that most are complaining about the poor acting, lack of plot, and overall bastardization of the original book...which I am not doubting or arguing against. But c'mon! It is a kid's movie, not the Shawshank Redemption. I gave this movie 4 stars because my kid enjoyed it so much, which who the movie is actually for. I even have to admit, Mike Myers off the wall characterization of the cat had me laughing out loud a few times; a rare feat from this actor. He pretty much carries the entire movie on his shoulders. His silly antics in this movie even outdo his Austin Powers films that were so popular. The scene where he cuts off his own tail and when he makes himself a pinata are the best. I would recommend this movie for any family, it will have you jumping on the couch with your kids.
