Very effective.
I had tried both methods, using in the beginning of the wash cycle; adding in the rinse cycle. The latter method is more effective for me. It removes odour and refresh the sports laundry.

Great Addition to My Laundry Routine
I love how fresh and clean my laundry smells after using this! It adds a pleasant scent while giving me extra peace of mind that my clothes are being thoroughly sanitized. It’s especially nice for towels, workout clothes and everyday laundry that can hold onto smelly odors. A little goes a long way and the fresh scent lasts without being too overwhelming. Goodbye smelly bedding
Some of my bedding and gym began to have smell... Yep... The issue is many types of clothing required 30/40 degrees and its simply not hot enough to eliminate all smells and bacteria. After trying everything from baking soda, to vinegar, hotter washes nothing got rid of this slightly stale oily smell but this stuff worked first time. Now I use it once every few washes and it completely eliminates everything. It's brilliant. Hands down I love this product. I homeless person could stay the night, wash their clothes in this and they will be fresh the next day. It's that good.
