The more I use it the more I like it.
This is a very nice device. I plugged a small fan heater into the plug-in portion, ran the temp. censor to the back of the heater. Set the remote to the run (on) temp, set the stop to 1° above that. It worked perfectly. Once the room got to temp. It would be off for 30 mins and on for 3mins. And that was with the heaters low setting. The remote has an always on and always off mode too. There are other modes but I dont use them. I keep a quiet fan running to distribute the air evenly. Of course the heater must have a manual on/off switch. The more I use it the more I like it.

Works well
All good after a year running my attic fan. Remote settings are a bit confusing. My application doesn’t require exact temps but it’s running when I expect and not running when I expect.

Works great!
First, thank you to the person that said her daughter wasn’t good with remotes and suggested to get the option where the temp is measured by the plug rather than the remote. I don’t need to change the settings often so there is no need to have the remote laying out in the open. It’s tucked away in a drawer and the temp of the drawer is not important as the air around it. This plug works really well. Be sure to set it with at least a 5 minute delay. I have finicky breakers and this has been plugged in for a few weeks straight without any problems. I have a $30 space heater plugged into, so it’s not a high end heater and it is doing well with the delay shut offs at 5mins. Once I read the directions it is very easy to set. You set the low and the high. So I have it set to shut off at 67 degrees. I have the low set at 64. It hovers around 65 most of the time which is perfect for me. It has alarms you can set too. So it can wake you or alert you if the room gets below or above a certain temp. This would be really important if it being used as a primary source of heat in a room with pipes, plants, or children. Most likely indicating something is wrong with the heater that is plugged into it. One thing to note for those sensitive to light and sound. When the unit kicks on or kicks off, a bright green light beams off the remote and the click of the heater turning on or off can be heard. The light and the click only last a quick second. It doesn’t bother me since I keep the remote in the drawer. I sleep with a sleep mask anyway. But wanted to put it out there in case anyone has concerns. Again, it’s only for a second but it is bright. Other than that, I highly recommend this. I wish I found it sooner. I plan to get another one and plug it into a timer to heat up my sun room in the morning so I can do yoga in there during winter months.

Doesn't Work Long
Worked well for a short time, then remote sensing unit quit working. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new sensor (three weeks, slow boat from China). Second sensor lasted about 3 months. These are cheap junk.

Whew!
It was kind of confusing to program, after programming, it seems to be effective.

Works, but it has a flaw
I bought the outlet with the thermostat attached not the one with the remote thermostat built in. I did this so if the batteries die in the remote the thermostat will still work. It worked great. So I took back the batteries I borrowed and noticed it wasn’t working. I was like don’t tell me the remote has to have power for the outlet version to work as well. That’s exactly what it was the outlet thermostat will not work if the remote is dead. So you might as well buy the remote version every time. My thing is I don’t want to have to rely on batteries so now I have to buy an adapter to make it so the remote has constant power. The adapter is additional 8 - 20 bucks making this even more expensive. It’s easy enough to follow and use i just don’t like how the whole setup for both kind of outlets relies on a remote. Like make an app for Bluetooth or include a digital screen on the outlet. And don’t charge extra for a product that shouldn’t be remote reliant, when it actually is. They should be the same price if the remote is required to run the dang outlet.
