good buy for money
product works as described. But for me, eyepiece requires putting eye completely on lens aperture. said lens aperture seems surrounded by plastic giving sight only vision through lens a circle the size of a baby aspirin.that being said glass is all clear, no deformities and sight picture is clear, have a nice day.

Good for your needs
Unless you're the sort who demands Goochi Brand Shoes and only hunts with silver ammo, you'll be well pleased with the JHBOX Spotting Scopes 20-60x60.First thing, when I picked up the package from the porch I noticed it was heavier than I expected. That was a bonus. (I had ordered a super cheap junker toy a few months ago trying to save money and it was like it came in a Cracker Jacks box. Yecch.)I have been circling a spotting scope for about 30 years. I don't mind a good stretch of the legs so much, you see, walking back and forth from the target. Well, actually I do...but I had all sorts of excuses not to invest in a scope. (High cost was one reason.) Til now.Upon opening, I found that it was packed nicely and the sleeve even had one of those moisture absorbing packs in it. On the scope it says 25x75. (Hunching shoulders. I dunno. May be.) It comes with a pretty good tripod for the money. Not studio quality, but good enough. It will hold position once you get set. The telescope, and that is what it is, has a lens cover which is a little loose. No matter. And it comes with a screw down cup which fits over the objective. Don't try to yank it off like I did. Unscrew it. This is a nice protective touch, actually. It also came with a fine carry bag with strap and a lens cloth. In other words, it's well put together and thought out.I confess I have not been to the range with it. I just got it. However, I did do a yard test. After playing around looking at far off stuff I bore down on a metal building which I would estimate to be....well, let me get out the rangefinder and I'll tell you for sure...be right back... Ha! On the way out to the test site I was guessing 90 yards, then I pared it back to 85. It was 85 yards on the nose to the side of that building. At that distance I could clearly see the screws along the side as if I was no more than 4 feet away. Hence, it ought to function brilliantly at the range. Satisfied! Oh, and btw...the ultimate test of optics is long distance at max zoom. Way off view, I'd give the optics about a 90. A smudge blurry, but not enough to worry with. You'll pay exceedingly more for a bit better. NASA probably wouldn't put up with it, but for us peons the view is pretty darned good. I could easily see the top terminals on a transformer that must have been a half mile away.Lastly, I have near/far vision. I use some souped up spectacles. Taking the cheaters off, the scope's focus (knob on the front) pulled the view right in for me. The power knob is on the eyepiece. A short turn only to go from min to max.You could pay a lot more for only a little improvement. As I said earlier, it's a thoughtful design...not something just thrown together. It's a serious instrument and way worth the price for the average user. You'll be well pleased with your JHBOX Spotting Scopes 20-60x60. (Erruh... 25x75)UPDATE: Now it's range tested! This afternoon I visited the range and I must tell you that I am WELL PLEASED. Out at 100 yards the target was large and crisp. And the mount is firm. Set it and it doesn't wander. Couldn't ask for a better focus. Saved me much walkings! Yes, get it. I don't see how a much more expensive scope could have done better. For real! This is one review I'm tickled to do.

Cheap, but works
Product arrived opened, so I added mine was used. The product is light and cheaply made. However, you can see a few hundred yards out. Overall this is more a toy, but could work if you want a cheap spotter scope
