Well built and strong material however inserting it on the door bar for GoPro 10 is externally difficult. The hole tray is too narrow for the bar. There is high potential of damaging the lid bar because applying extreme force is a must to fit it in. Not recommended due to high risk of bar damage.

Fits the larger Hero9 perfectly! The door is aluminum like the GoPro original, and clicks closed with a rubber tensioned latch. The battery door’s hinge is secure and clips in place as well as the original. A piece of foam rubber behind the door holds the battery securely.

It fit perfect on my gopro hero 9 black, it looks great, it is very sturdy and I no longer need to leave the door open to charge it.I followed the instructions in a youtube video called "GoPro Hero 9 Replacement Side Doors" by Josh Greer and I was able to replace the door very easily. Once installed, the door is supposed to swing freely, if it isn't, you need to push it into the pin a little bit more so that it sits properly into place.It took a couple of weeks to get here but I didn't mind that, I was in no rush.

Caveat emptor - as I couldn't for the life of me insert the connector through the hole, the product is useless. Returning it.Update: I searched and finally bought, locally, a cable that fit. I had to do it through trial and error; there's no way of telling if any sold on Amazon would be suitable. As the one I've bought works, I'm keeping the door. Rating bumps up to two stars.

This is great if you need to access the usb-c slot. Especially if you want to hook a battery pack up to your gopro 9. It's a solid piece. But with exposing the usb-c slot, don't know how well it would hold up in water with the compartment exposed. For what it's designed to do, it does a good job.
