Compact Cajon by Gear4music with Seatpad and Gigbag Ebony

I bought this for my dad who from a young age I have noticed he loves to tap his feet, make beats on his feet using his hands, he randomly came across this prior Christmas and although the price is quite a bit for what it essentially is he absolutely loves it, he’s been using it almost daily playing song to music and adding his own soul and best to it.Quality is superb, has a lovely wooden smell, sounds decent, even comes with a useful padded top so you don’t have pain in your rear for a good duration while playing, comes with a handy backpack.Definitely worth the price for a starter considering the quality and sound, easily recommended for those who love to express their love for music through their body’s.

Yip, bought a box for my 23yr old son. Turns out to be more than a box. When he plays it, it sounds pretty impressive. Hands, feet and whatever other mobile parts of his body are available whack away at this thing and I'm thinking...'Mmmm... quite a bit more than a box then...' I saw other Cajons for sale on Amazon, but the price of this one, along with the fact that it has a rosewood front and a supplied carrying bag convinced me to go ahead and buy. One reviewer's poor review had made me think before buying, but on receiving the Cajon. it is immediately obvious that the drum has excellent build quality and a tremendous variance not to mention volume of sound. The snare seems to be simple enough to adjust, though to be honest my son is happy with it as it is. I would be happy to recommend this item to anyone, especially given the price and quality of build.

Absolute bargain for the money. Fantastic build quality and great sound. Arrived today and the entire family have been hooked. Supplied gig bag is also very well made. The Cajon will be joining our family band. Considered buying a self assembly alternative but at this price and quality for the finished article why bother.

Well built, feels solid and a great carrying case. Quick delivery, estimate said 1 week, took 1 day!Can't complain for the price, good fun and fine for amateur gigging.BUT Don't expect it to sound great straight out of the box. You need to use the allen key inside to loosen and tighten the wires to your taste. I also put a blanket inside to take away some of the "boominess". Also different rooms have different acoustics and will affect the sound as well.Plus you get some jingle bells inside!!

Just buy a wooden box and beat that. This has the best packaging I’ve seen in a while but the sound is terrible.

I bought one of these in ash for myself and was so impressed with it that I persuaded our youth group to have two. The quality and range of sounds is excellent. It is a well-produced, quality product with a very practical bag. Adjustment of the snares is possible with care. And all for a very affordable price -I love it!

One of the cheaper Cajons available, but seems well built and produces a good sound. Bought for teenage son, who's a percussionist, and he's very happy with it. Comes with seat pad and carry case. Speedy delivery before Christmas too.

Il cajon della Gear4music è stato premiato come uno dei migliori cajon sul mercato nella sua categoria di prezzo, ma, credetemi, quando lo suonerete la prima volta resterete stupiti dalla profondità dei bassi e, soprattutto, dalla limpidezza e dal volume dello snare (l'effetto rullante) che sono al livello dei parenti mooolto più costosi!E' provvisto di campanellini spostabili da destra a sinistra lungo la corda orizzontale e all'interno trova posto, in un suo alloggiamento, la chiave a brugola per regolare la tensione delle corde verticali (le relativi viti sono accessibili dal fondo, capovolgendo il cajon). Anche il tappetino gommato per sedersi è compreso è svolge abbastanza bene, ma non aspettatevi granchè: ha lo stesso spessore della maggior parte dei tappetini da mouse.Lo strumento arriva perfettamente imballato in uno scatolone e con tempi di recapito rapidissimi.L'unica critica che voglio condividere con la Gear4Music e che consiglio a tutti caldamente di prendere in considerazione se lo avete già acquistato, riguarda i piedini gommati su cui il cajon poggia: le 4 viti con cui essi sono assemblati al fondo sono troppo corte e risultano completamente inadeguate al loro compito. Dopo meno di un'ora dall'estrazione dello strumento dal suo scatolone una si era già completamente svitata con conseguente distacco del relativo piedino. Le ho sostituite tutte e quattro con analoghe viti per legno a testa tonda, diametro 3,5 con taglio a croce, ma di 5 mm più lunghe e ora la stabilità è garantita.Questo cajon vale comunque tutti i soldi spesi per l'acquisto...ed anche parecchio altro di più! Consigliatissimo!

Joli instrument avec une belle sonorité (c'est mon premier cajon) avec une très belle housse de transport qui le protège bien.
