Omg theyre so great and juicy. Very fresh. Big juicy strawberries 😋🤤 gonna get these whenever i get another craving cause theyre right up there with edible arrangements. You get so may theyre so filling. Only thing i can say is the chocolate kinda chips off when you bite but i just put the chocolate back in my mouth. But yeah very fresh, were delivered in a freezer bag, with ice packs, which are very good quality my boyfriend is using them in his lunchbox now lol, and inside theyre own cute little box at that.

This item was packaged very well. It sat outside for several hours and the ice pack was still cold. The strawberries were cold and the chocolate never melted. Very happy with the quality of this product.

First one I had tasted fermented. The second was hard and not ripe. Chocolate had no taste. We threw most of them away.

Flavorful but expensive, worth holiday purchase

Golden State ships these with extreme care. Outer box, foam board on four sides, two cold packs and a protective food safe foam core between the strawberries and top lid of the presentation box. The berries themselves look exactly as shown on the site on the outside. I would suggest to Golden State to provide a photo of their products sliced open. Had I seen how thick the chocolate was on the berries, I would not have ordered them. Can you imagine complaining about too much chocolate!! But these are small berries, I cannot in good faith describe them as medium. So to have three (guessing) thick coats of chocolate on them is overkill and is not the proper ratio to enjoy the taste...their chocolate overwhelms the small strawberry. I’m from CA and lived in Strawberry growing heaven, La Selva Beach. Had a Driscoll’s field and stand 3 minutes from my house. I have got to assume that Golden State has their own Greenhouse, since they offer summer fresh fruit in winter, I don’t understand why the 2 strawberries we tasted (one each for me and my hubby) were so tasteless?? I can understand why, from a business perspective they grow and provide small one’s; but they should be pristine, ripe, and bursting with home grown flavor. I would not in good conscience sell these if this were my business. All the near perfect things Golden State did were quickly overridden by the flavorless berries; which are the star of the show? Sherries Berries is a total scam. You waste 45 min as their site changes the price, their offers etc only to find out they want $16/18 per item for S/H!! But, the savings here show in the poor size and non existent taste of the berries. It is standard practice to use premium size berries for Choc. covered Strawberries. At the very least GS should use medium RIPE berries and charge a little more. If they can’t procure or grow ripe berries year round, they shouldn’t offer them year round. I will make them myself as I always have . Knowing my berries will be ripe, large and have excellent chocolate dipped once. They won’t look as good as Golden State’s, but they’ll taste freakin’ AWE—Some! If you like heavily covered fruit then maybe(??) these would be worth trying in summer? If the berries were ripe and sweet, and the buyer liked a ton of chocolate they would be happy. PS although a personalized card is offered I would spend much time on it. My Anniversary sentiments weren’t printed. They were replaced with a boilerplate “ENJOY”. Golden State, it brings me no pleasure to dis your product. It’s your business and there just isn’t any excuse for tasteless berries. The thickness of chocolate coating is definitely personal preference. I doubt many people would know that it was wrong proportionately for the palate. Most people would probably like it. Thank You.
