I live far away from my family and now that my daughter is in 1st grade I wanted to start some of our own traditions so she can have good memories. I tried the sausage breakfast pie (hint in the book was to assemble the night before), Holiday Wassail, and Let-it-snow Cocoa. They were all delicious and going to be every year staples. It was so great to be able to just pop a hearty breakfast in the oven since she wakes us up at the crack of dawn and I have no energy to cook at that time. Great for Christmas memories
I bought this book a few years ago and read it and marked a lot of recipes and ideas to try. I live far away from my family and now that my daughter is in 1st grade I wanted to start some of our own traditions so she can have good memories. I tried the sausage breakfast pie (hint in the book was to assemble the night before), Holiday Wassail, and Let-it-snow Cocoa. They were all delicious and going to be every year staples. It was so great to be able to just pop a hearty breakfast in the oven since she wakes us up at the crack of dawn and I have no energy to cook at that time. The wassail also filled the house with a great holiday scent.

LOVE IT!!!
I first saw this cookbook during "Christmas in July" on QVC. I found it here on Amazon and bought it since the price was much better than QVC. :) I have made a lot of the recipes already (which my husband totally loves!) and they are amazing! I love how they give you that Holiday feeling and they are all so easy to make! The best part is everything is made from scratch which is the way I cook 90% of the time :) I love the craft ideas they have in there too and I'm making some new traditions, that I found in the book, this coming Holiday Season. I HIGHLY recommend Gooseberry Patch!

Wonderful Cookbook!
Finally, a cookbook that I can trust. The recipes come out just as I expected and I have been going to this cookbook again and again lately to get great items on my weekly "menu". If I plan meals and stick to a menu, I find that I shop less and spend less at the grocery store. These recipes are simple, delicious and really fit into my busy life. I love each section - breakfast, dinners, desserts, etc. Love this cookbook!!

Received on time and in perfect condition! The book itself looks nice and makes a great, inexpensive gift! Disappointing there aren't any bread pudding recipes in a Christmas Cook Book... Lesson learned - next time I'll be sure and check the index before I buy one of their books...

I Found some interesting things
They ship out FAST I received it in about 5 days. The binding was not broken which made me VERY happy. I have found some different things in this one looking forward to doing the old Red Velvet Christmas Cake as it is called and some of the fudge. I have about 12 things marked to try so it was well worth the money. Thank You.

Lovely Book
I saw this first at a friend's house so I got to peruse it at length. As soon as I got home I ordered one for myself. It is a lovely well made book as are all of the Goose Berry Patch books.

This is a wonderful entry in the Gooseberry Patch cookbookciection. Great recipes and some good ideas for making any celebration special.

Un peu décevant
Ce livre est une compilation de recettes de lectrices et fans de la marque. Ce qui est sympa, mais cela manque un peu (beaucoup même)de rigueur. Pour la plupart les quantités sont énormes et apparemment aproximatives. D'autant plus qu'il faut convertir en grammes, ce qui n'est pas facile pour les "cups" d'ingrédients, en particulier les solides. Les indications sont souvent assez vagues, je ne pense pas que les recettes aient été réellement testées par les cuisinières de Goseberry Patch. Autre déception, il n'y a aucune photo, ni de la fabrication, ni du produit fini. Cela aurait aidé et ça manque bien. En conclusion, la couverture est très attrayante, mais les recettes pas très utilisables.
