The medium Re-grip is about 1 5/8” inside the removable yellow coil. If you are covering an oval handle, you can finesse it over a 1 3/4” handle. I use them on hammers, handle bars and special steel bars I make for metal fabrication.

Q: How thick is the rubber on the grip?

Installed on a 1.25in diameter metal tool handle, the thickness of the rubber cover is approximately 3mm or about 1/8 (or 0.125) of an inch. Rubber cover is not slick, comfortable but firm. The material is also durable, having lasted a few years of regular shop use; I would purchase again.

Q: Can this be used as a grip for MagLight D cell flashlights?

It should work fine "Provided" you first measure the outside diameter of the Maglight and then order the appropriate inside diameter grip from the '"Grip Chart" shown on the page in Amazon. It explains how to measure and comes in (3) sizes. Be sure to allow for the on/off button or slide switch on the flashlight. It's a very simple and straight forward install. Good Luck Eric

Yes, it could work with a selfie stick. You just need to follow the measurement guidance on the packaging. For this particular application, your selfie stick needs to have a diameter of at least 0.58 inches for it to be effective.
