I have not been able to start it as I think there is a voltage difference from country to country .I live in Dubai and I believe this was shipped from THE US.If there is any other reason , I would appreciate a response from younanas.

This item is good if you like the illusion of making your own frozen treat, very quickly. I make a lot of frozen desserts, so after using this a few times and testing it out, I will stick to my food processor. You can only get the creaminess from bananas, which gives you the idea that you’re really making ice cream, but trust me, it’s not ice cream. It’s just a thought. Everything else comes out like an ice. Some people in the reviews stated that with food processors and blenders it’s timely to clean and remove the dessert; but I find the same with this unit because you do have to disassemble it to clean it. I think this is a cute gadget for people who want to experience a frozen dessert coming down the chute. After trying different types of desserts, including frozen banana and also frozen mango, it left little chunks & does not churn it enough to make it completely smooth, if you don’t mind the chunks, then this may be the gadget for you. But I will be returning it; it is a nice idea.

It is loud! But it creates all fruit “ice cream” that is surprisingly awesome. You would swear you are eating frozen custard or ice cream.

This creates sorbet texture from frozen fruit. It’s delicious and fairly simple to lean the “knack” of the consistency and flavors. You do need all the fruit to be frozen to work and you will use more fruit than you realize to make a bowl. Clean up is simple. Would highly recommend if you have the space for it. Great alternative for ice cream.

Product works great!! Only drawback is the size of the chute for adding the fruit, it could be a little bigger.

I have pretty much eliminated added sugar and moderate dairy, so I have been looking for something like this. When I lived on Kauai in the 1970s, we used to get frozen banana and papaya 'ice cream' that was just like this. I love ice cream, and so does my grandson (7). We made the banana/cherry, and he had so much fun. i put it in a cone for him, and he loved it! Just fruit! Well, he did have the cone, but it only had 4 grams of sugar and 45 calories. It's nice and creamy, and there are so many recipes that look enticing. It is better fresh than re-frozen, but I do make up some extra, and it's totally acceptable re-frozen.
