This canvas web belt works well for what it is, but it’s not the same as true military-issued gear. The material and buckle design are similar in appearance, and it serves the purpose effectively for post-military uniform equivalents or civilian wear that requires a similar look. The adjustable cut-to-fit design makes sizing straightforward, and once trimmed properly, it fits securely. The brass buckle functions as expected and holds tension without slipping. That said, the thickness and overall feel are not quite at the same level as genuine issued belts. It’s close, but not identical. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is that it doesn’t fully match the durability and construction of actual military issue. However, for everyday wear or uniform-equivalent use, it performs well and represents a practical option.

I bought five of these in different colors, and they are absolutely perfect replacements/additions to the identical web belts I already own. They're a perfect width (1.25") and long enough for someone with a huge waist. As my waist expanded over the past six years, my previous web belts (cut to fit) became too tight, and they start to get a bit frayed after several years of frequent wear. The buckles will show some slight scratches and wear over time, but this is not an issue unless you must pass Inspection with them. Contrary to some other reviewers, I rarely have any trouble getting the buckle adjusted, or putting it on or off, but I could see where someone not used to this type of buckle, or with impaired manual dexterity, could have some issues. Overall, I'd rate this product Five Stars for performance, appearance, durability, and cost. If you want a genuine (and expensive) leather dress belt, these are NOT what you want. For any other usage, they're great.

Having worn these types of belts for the vast majority of my life, I was surprised how thin and cheap the metal is on these imports. They work, but they really are cheap.
