Lots of curiosity and compliments on the pretty peacock mat from my yoga classes. 😊. The mat is sticky and doesn’t move on laminated floor yoga studios which is great for jumping on. There’s no stretching when doing warrior 2. The 6mm thickness is fine without being too bulky to carry. I bought a canvas yoga matt bag from Boence which fits. It’s weird that no carrier strap comes with this yoga mat. My old mat from another firm was cheap and came with a carrier strap. Other reviewers have complained of the strong plastic smell. I think it’s the printed paint. They probably print on demand as we order so the paint smell is much like having to put up with freshly painted walls in your home. It does dissipates with time. I use a towel with a bit of perfume on it when doing floor exercises and my nose is facing the mat. That masks the plastic smell well. I have to see how durable the mat is after some months to see if it disintegrates like all my previous matts

I love this mat. The design is beautiful and the thickness of the mat is perfect. The only downside is that it is slightly smaller than my old mat.

This product is very good quality. It's a decent thickness, for me it holds its place and I don't have sliding hands and feet, great grip! Yes, it's true that it has a chemically smell from manufacturing when it's brand new but this fades quickly. I've had this mat for a month and I use it every day for at least 30 minutes so frequent use gets rid of that new smell quickly. It's also a really pretty design on both sides.. would recommend!

This particular mat it’s always a talking point at any class – everybody loves it to look at! So far, so good. I gave it four stars, because there is a little bit of slippage in some poses – but not as bad as many others I have tried.

Fantastic mat. It had quite a strong smell to begin with but gradually this has faded. Looks great and doesn't slip at all. It is also a nice thickness.

ludicrously high quality product. hard to find this type of quality off the shelf. i have used ti on hard wood and carpet and has been great. I am ~ 6 foot and there is space to spare in length and width. doesn't stretch and doesn't slip. expensive but if you are doing yoga a few times a week it is an easy purchase

Love this mat. It's thicker and has nice cushion to it. The designs both front and back are beautiful. My only complaint is I wish it was 2 inches longer. However, I will definitely purchase again.

The thickness gives just enough cushioning. It definitely doesn’t slip. My hands and feet stay put. It is plenty long for my 5’1” body, but I’m sure it would work for someone 6 ft. tall. I’ve only used it for a week, so I don’t know about durability. I bought Gaian because I know it’s a reliable brand. I read a lot of reviews before buying and intentionally chose one that had NO mentions of pilling or degradation. It’s easy to roll, though it rolls up a bit wider than when I got it. I bought Gaia’s slap band to hold it shut. I was amazed that it expanded enough to hold it. If I was going to leave the house with this, I’d surely buy a shoulder strap carrying case. I’m a beginner so am just starting at home with my physical therapy exercises because the bed is too soft and the floor is too hard. I planned to pack and take this on a 2 month trip to use on the tile floors. But, it would take up too much space in my suitcase. I have to travel lightly because I’m recovering from a shoulder replacement and have a very bad back. By the way, the blue pattern of my mat is absolutely beautiful!

Esta perfecto aún, y lo uso diario para mi práctica de yoga, el color sigue intacto y no se ha desgastado… sin duda que no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado

Me gusto bastante, un poco más corto a los que uso normalmente porque soy alta, pero está precioso, lo volvería a comprar definitivamente.
