There IS energy monitoring. Read below. . .
Update - Despite no contact or confirmation from the manufacturer of these smart plugs, I have investigated much further and confirm that there IS infact energy monitoring. I use the Smart Life app on my phone and identifying the energy monitoring is not where expected, but I hope that my photos clarify where you can locate it.These plugs were easy to set up. As mentioned already, simply disable 5Ghz on your router temporarily and then connect with the remaining 2.4Ghz. They work very well with the Smart Life app. However, I am not identifying an option for energy monitoring as per how they are advertised. Unless the maker would like to inform me otherwise? The product has lost a star due to the manufacturer not communicating at all with a customer.

Wifi plug with current monitoring
Thus gas been great bit of kit. Works well. High lighted items that draw mire current then you thin in stand-by. And you can turn it of over night. Will by more.

Why can't folk simply read the instructions?
These little devices work perfectly in the hands of people who know what they are doing. It is common practice to have to disable 5Ghz channel on WiFi when connecting a device that only supports 2.4Ghz. So why do some people appear baffled when they don't connect and pretend that they are so clever when they disable the 5Ghz channel, and then suprize - it works! We have a saying in the technology industry "RTFM". It really isn't complicated. Every one of these I have connected works fine and I have some over a year old and still functioning perfectly. They also integrate perfectly and seamlessly with Amazon Alexa too.

No energy monitoring but otherwise seems fine m
Connects easy enough but note it doesn’t have energy monitoring at all.Fine for scheduling on and off or manually switching on and off but it won’t tell you how much power the connected item is using.
