The product description mentions "slim fit" which set my initial expectations and probably explains why my first impressions were it was not actually very slim but looked rather bulky. However, I believe those impressions are due to the somewhat military tough looking design of the back of the case featuring rubberized bold bars and contours. Now, after spending time with the case I've come to appreciate it fits the phone well, it provides a firm grip, and can easily be inserted and removed one handed from the secure belt clip holster. I haven't dropped my iPhone XR with this case but I do believe it would provide a fair amount of protection to the phone. The kickstand on the back can even be folded out and a finger placed through it when holding the phone for longer periods for extra security from drops. I almost never give 5 stars but this one is coming close.

This feels pretty heavy duty. Nice for the price paid. As rugged as any I’ve tried yet the case seems thicker depth wise than it needs to be which makes it too thick for my car holster and wireless charger. This sucks because now I can’t use GPS maps and wireless charging while driving.

This is my second of this model of case/holster. When I bought my new iPhone XR I initially purchased an Otter Box - which I took back. It is too bulky and hard to get in and out of the holster. So I then went to Amazon and got the same (Stronden) holster I used with my iPhone 7. So I know it is durable. It is easy to get in and out of the holster with one hand. It provides adequate protection. Probably not as much as the Otter Box. But while I had that model for two days it fell from the holster and my car dash mount.I like the snap-out kickstand that I can also put my finger through to hold the phone securely.I do recommend using a tempered glass screen protector.

I had to get a new phone unexpectedly, ordered this one from Amazon without doing much research. It’s a nice case for $10, very sturdy and protective. It has a built in kickstand, which is nice! It also came with a belt clip I did not expect to use ever. Since phones have gotten larger, I’ve considered the belt clips very awkward. I was surprised that this one it’s manageable even with a bigger phone. This case does not work with my wife’s wireless charger, which is fine because I just don’t use them.
