Decent ukulele for the money
We bought two of these in different colours when they were on offer - one for £12.99 and one for £14.99. We weren’t prepared to spend a lot in case we didn’t like playing. I am basing my reviews on these prices. The ukuleles themselves are fine - well-finished and with good tone. There are a few things to comment on:I don’t like the way the strap attaches. It clips on to the sound box, comes under the ukulele and then goes round your neck. The ukulele tips forward if you let it go. It would have been better if the ukulele had studs on the body to attach the strap but I guess you get what you pay for.One of the tuners works well. We couldn’t get the back off the other one to put a battery in so had to throw it away and buy another one from Amazon. The case is very tight and a struggle to put on. You won’t be able to put anything else in such as a tuner or a sheet of music. I could feel the pegs turning as I zipped it up - this puts the ukulele out of tune. The song book/instruction manual is a little eight page leaflet - six pages if you don’t count the covers. However, it does contain a handy chart of the most popular chords to play.

Cheap and cheerful but get new strings
I bought this as it was only £8.99 and thought, what the hell. I already play guitar (badly) and decided to give the uke a go. It's suprisingly well made and the frets are not bad. The original strings would not hold the correct note and didn't know if it was the machine heads or the strings themselves. I bought a new set of strings for around £3 off Amazon and put them on and they now hold the correct note. Sounds ok I guess but have no real frame of reference. Loads of tutorials on youtube and in about 3 minutes the 4 basic chords are mastered! Give it a go, you know you want to!

Great value
Very nicely presented and it looks great. Strings seem a bit feeble so perhaps will consider replacing them. For the price though this is great for beginners.

Well made and you have everything you need to start. Found out I'm rubbish but will persevere. Lol

Great Ukulele for beginners
As a complete beginner, I'm very happy with this, fun, easy to tune using the included tuner, actually progressing faster than I thought I would, good build quality, stays in tune (a problem some poorer products have) all in all can't complain 😀
