nice
I bought one before, and I thought it was very easy to use and convenient, and it didn't take up space. Later, my sister took my car after using it several times, and asked me to buy another one myself. It was really convenient to use, and I could ride there not far away, so now I'm buying it again.

Plastic very flimsy, breaks easily, scooter itself works fine
I bought this scooter in March for commuting. I'm 55 years old, don't do tricks and like to take care of my stuff, so I don't feel like I was abusing this scooter. When it came, the front fender arrived broken. I contacted the company, they offered a new fender or $25 refund. I opted for the fender, I mean, it was new, right? A friend helped me put it on and another piece of plastic broke while he was fixing it. Whatever. I really needed the transportation and the mobile part of it I was happy enough with. Good charge for what I needed, speed was acceptable. When you fold the scooter to take it on the bus, there is a clamp that connects the folded handle bars to the back fender. I would then pick it up by the stem of the handle bar to carry it on the bus for maybe 5 seconds before setting it down. The owners manual is poorly translated and difficult to read, so I read it many times. I don't know where I put it now, but I never remember reading anything about not picking it up by the folded handle (or even a suggestion of how it should be picked up.) In retrospect, as this scooter weighs 26 lbs, common sense says picking up the 26 lb scooter by the handle that is only supported by a flimsy piece of plastic, probably not the best idea and it would probably break quickly, but there was really no other way to pick it up without it being really awkward, so that's what I did. I am now trying to glue the back fender on (the fender has a brake light on it, that seems like would be a good idea.) The pot metal that holds the kick stand on broke about a month ago while I was just sitting on the bus. About 90% of the time that isn't an issue, so I let that go.I'm giving this 2 stars because the transporting parts (motor, speed, brakes) work just fine and I'm happy with that, but with how quickly things broke and how short a warranty they give, I wouldn't consider buying this again. This could be a pretty good scooter with a few tweaks. All the plastic makes it lighter, I'm sure, but breaks too easily.I only really needed this for 6 months and it has lasted just over 3 months. I'm hoping the gluing, and maybe some zip ties and collapsing it and holding it together with a dog collar will take me though the rest of the time that I need it.

Frustration x 2!!!
Bought this and first time out the back wheel covering broke. Exchanged easily bc we really like the scooter. Day 1 with new scooter, and this cheap plastic piece came off scooter. Trying to glue it so I don’t have to go through exchange process again, but really frustrated. Big price tag for cheap parts. Love the ride though, which makes me frustrated.

Middle of the road low-end scooter
This electric scooter, the XPRIT FS-02, is an inexpensive (relatively) scooter on the lower-end of what's available. Note that by low-end I mean based on the specifications, not the quality. The product description doesn't do a great job of listing the specs, so here's the critical information:* 8.5 in solid (that is, not air-filled) tires* 250 W (350 W peak) front hub motor* Max speed of 17.4 mph* 36V, 270 Wh, 7.5Ah battery good for an advertised 12.4 miles of range* Rear disc brakeJust for context, I have another low-end scooter (Levy) that I'll be comparing this to, and I also ride electric skateboards and electric bicycles.UPDATE 2022-01:After using this for about 3 months, through a NYC winter, I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars. The range has proven to be very good; if riding this conservatively (in "normal" mode), I think it easily hits its range. I use this for relatively short trips and maybe charge once a week. I've used it in rain and snow, and it's survived so far. And while the ride on the solid tires isn't great, it's nice that I don't have to worry about getting flats or adding air.RIDE QUALITYThis has solid rubber tires, though there's spaces for shock absorption. There's no shocks or anything else to absorb any bumps in the road. Compared to a similarly priced scooter with pneumatic (air-filled) tires, this has a noticeably rougher ride, but it's actually better than I was expecting. This would be OK for dealing with small imperfections in the roads and small bumps, but if you live in an area with rougher roads (anything you'd feel on a bicycle), you might want to reconsider. On the plus side, since these don't use air, they're immune to punctures and you don't have to deal with maintaining air pressure. The wheels feel a little narrow and the scooter feels a bit twitchy in the left/right direction compared to my other scooter, but this is something one could get used to.ACCELERATION and BRAKINGThis has a thumb throttle. The mechanism feels smooth, and it has a fairly gentle curve, so it's easy to control. You do need to kick to start -- that is, you have to push the scooter a bit first before the motor will kick in. This is to prevent the scooter from accidentally moving when you're not on it, I guess. I do feel like there is a bit of delay in the throttle, which makes the scooter feel a bit slow to accelerate but is good for beginners I guess. The brake works well for what it is, and it was well adjusted out of the box. The brake is strong enough to lock up the rear wheel if you want, and stopping distance is adequate. It also is easy to modulate.TOP SPEED AND RANGEAlthough the advertised top speed is 17.4 mph, I could only get it to go 15-16 mph. I'm about 160 lb. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it's being limited to 15 mph, but there's no instructions for adjusting the limit if there is one.As for range, I haven't had a chance to run it totally down, but based on some shorter trips, I expect the range to be pretty close, probably about 10 miles. I'll update the review once I've had a chance to test. It takes a few hours to recharge.UI and OTHER STUFFThis has a single button -- hold for a few seconds to turn on, hold for a few seconds to turn off, single tap to change speed modes, and double tap to turn the light on/off. There are 3 speed modes, but the first is too slow to really use. Normal goes up to about 10 mph, while sport allows you to go to 15 mph with a slight increase in power. There is no app connection available. The light isn't that bright -- if you're going to be using this at night, I would suggest supplemental lighting. This has a bell integrated into the brake handle mechanism; it's not especially loud though.Folding is smooth and the mechanism seems sturdy. Overall build quality is good with nothing seemingly loose.Note that the bottom panel for this is plastic -- I don't think it could handle too much impact to the bottom, so don't go scraping it on curbs! I also doubt its water resistance, so I'd probably suggest not riding it in the rain either.EDIT: Despite my own recommendation, I did ride this in the rain (about 1 in/hr rain, going through lots of puddles), and it did survive.CONCLUSIONThis is an average scooter in this price range, but it doesn't stand out in any way -- it's not especially fast, or has long range, or power. There are a lot of other scooters in this price range, and I think if you find something with similar specs for a lower price, there's no real reason to get this. But by that same token, if this is less expensive, there's no reason to not get this scooter. As a result, I give this 3 stars.
