I tested several products from the LQ brand.There was also a liquid and powder product among them.The brand design is good.Youthful and trendy. It can be good to differentiate it from others on the market.About this product:I have been consuming collagen for a long time. Great for skins and nails but it lacks other collagen types for stronger bones and joints
I ordered the Collagen Peptides Powder by LQ for my wife and she has been impressed with its benefits for her skin and nails. The high strength 10,000mg of type 1 collagen hydrolysate is perfect for those looking to improve the appearance of their skin and nails and, because it is hydrolysed, it gets absorbed much quicker into the bloodstream. However, my wife prefers using products that contain more types of collagen so that it also helps with bones and joints.One thing I really like about this product is that it dissolves quickly and tastes great when mixed with water. However, I made the mistake of mixing it with my tea and it tasted disgusting. Lesson learned!Overall, I would recommend this collagen supplement to anyone looking to improve their skin and nails. Just keep in mind that it only contains type 1 collagen and may not provide additional benefits for bones and joints.

Very difficult to mix
I switched to this from another brand, and have already cancelled my subscribe & save because this is such a faff to mix smoothly, compared to the one I’d been using. It takes a heck of a lot of vigorous stirring to get it anywhere near drinkable. Very disappointing.

Let’s see the benefits
I decided to order this for my mum and chose the vanilla option out of the variety of different flavours they offer. She has tried it a couple of different ways the first way is with 200 mL of water and the second was mixing it in with a yoghurt, but overall my mum prefers it in a yoghurt. When opening the container it has a strong essence of vanilla and when mixed in with a yoghurt it tastes of vanilla yoghurt she has told me. The LQ collagen tub comes double sealed and the collagen is like a fine powder. There is a handy measuring scoop inside of the tub, Which helps measure your daily intake of 15 g. The tub contains 300 g of collagen so there is enough for 20 days. My mum has been using the type 1LQ collagen for A week now and the description says it will take possibly two to three weeks before noticing any difference, So I will come back and update my review in three weeks to let you know if my mum has felt any benefits from taking this. Obviously we do not expect miracles within three weeks as these usually take a good couple of months to work to their full potential, but my friend has been taking it for several months and she is feeling and seeing the benefits with her hair, skin and knee joints which is why the reason I have ordered this for my mum.

Superior quality Marine Collagen that tastes really good
This collagen powder is excellent. It is made from very high quality marine collagen (fish) which is Type 1 and very easily absorbed by the body. I have been taking marine collagen for some time now, since I discovered that it is brilliant at preventing my nails from splitting and peeling. I generally take 1000 – 1500mg per day.This LQ collagen contains 15g (1500mg) per suggested dose and this can be easily measured using the scoop that’s included in the tub. Directions are that you should add one scoop to 200ml water, stir vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved, then drink immediately. I find that the powder dissolves quickly and easily and the resulting drink tastes really nice (I have the lime and coconut flavour). I have also tried dissolving it in milk – like a milkshake – and it is equally nice to drink like this).The tub is made from recyclable PET and is sealed with foil so the contents stay pure and there is no spillage during transport. My tub has a shelf life of 16 months.Marine collagen isn’t the cheapest form of collagen you can buy, but I’ve found it works. At £32.00 for the tub, containing 20 x 15g servings, this works out at £1.60 per day which I think is good value for a superior product like this that not only gets results, but also tastes great!

Potent coconut and lime collagen
I have been taking Collagen tablets for years and they will always be my number one recommendations to anyone worrying about ageing skin as well as hair nail and skin problems.Since taking collagen I have had noticeably improvements.I do struggle ingesting tablets in general and have to seek out small ones with as little taste as possible, I sometimes need to break them up into smaller portions.So with this collagen coming in powder form that can be consumed in numerous ways (such as added to water, porridge and smoothies) it does make taking this supplement a lot easier for me.It is also more gentle to digest.In fact the coconut and lime entirely masks any fishy or medicinal taste.It goes perfectly with milkshakes.The price is a bit higher then what I’m used to paying but then again the potency of this product is ten times higher then by just taking a regular tablet form collagen.Only time will tell the long term outcome of taking a supplement in this form but I’m committed to finding out.
