It just so happens I have the book opened now for the project I am working on. This Active Training book was perfect quality and has info in it that I can use. It came from the County south of mine, another wonder of Amazon, I guess. Thanks!Carol R

If you are starting training with 0 knowledge, this book may be of some value. However, a lot of the ideas in here are simply bad. The author suggests a “personal bingo” icebreaker where you walk around the room trying to find people that match certain criteria (born out of the country, has a birthday in April, etc.) If you were to actually force professionals to do this, they would hate you. There is nothing new or innovative about these ideas.I just got to the section about having the participants ask good questions and the author suggests having “planted questions” where you give someone a question you have written ahead of time and give them a pre -determined signal such as “scratching your nose” and then they ask your question.After reading this, I’m officially done with this book.

I'll be using this book the rest of my professional career! Has amazing tips for constructing and implementing a training program or class of any sort. Results are engaging classes where clients can enjoy their mandatory training.
