Military Men's 100% Cotton Rip Stop BDU Shirt, Made in USA

I purchased two OD colored ripstop BDU shirt for my husband. One in medium and the other one in large just to see which one fits better.Here are the actual pit to pit measurement of both sizes.Medium: 23 inches.Large: 24 inches.He ended up returning the large because it was huge on him.But after losing some weight, the medium was a bit large on him as well.So, he ended up buying a small sized camo version of the same shirt directly from McGuire Army and Navy since they were having a 10% sales. Size small fits him perfectly.Here's the pit to pit measurement of the small.Small: 22 inches.The bottom line is these shirts are great in quality for the price. The best part is they were made in USA! Just make sure you buy the right size and please feel free to use the measurements I've provided as a reference. The measurements that are listed on the tags and even the ones that are provided by Mcguire's are NOT the actual physical measurements.

Delivered sooner than expected.The large long is a perfect fit. Size Large from another bdu seller is too short. I'm 6ft - 225lbs, thin with a slight beer gut. The long fits my monkey arms just right. Sleeves don't go up when I raise my arms, belly stays covered too.Feels light enough for warmer weather with enough room to layer underneath. Heavy enough to be a light spring/fall jacket. American made too. I'm getting the tiger next. My tiger bdu top from a foreign manufacturer will be a gift for a nephew. Tags still on it. Nowhere near the quality of this shirt. Very pleased.

It looks decent but the material is thinner than I expected - definitely thinner than that of the BDU I previously owned. However, the material seems to be pretty sturdy so I guess that makes up for it. Also, the color is closer to that of light brown rather than olive green as shown in a picture comparison to my olive green slacks. Since the Medium size is a bit larger than what I normally wear, I unfortunately will be returning as the seller doesnt have the item in small.

The build quality is very good on this blouse first and foremost. However, it's like one of the misfit builds or you can say it was "inspired by" a BDU blouse. First, this thing is HUGE! It's a good 2 sizes too big for me. I ordered an XL and I'm 6'2 260 with food muscle. The XL should have been almost snug. Nope it's a tent on me. Giant arm holes and giant sleeves; I look like a kungfu Shifu with camo sleeves. The wrist sizing buttons and flap are also disproportionate. It's only about 1.5 inches tall where the BDUs were easily 3. There is also no top stitching separating and re-enforcing the wrist section from the forearm. The overall length is also a good 6 inches below my belt line. I think this should have been a xxxl shirt.
