Light Duty and leisure activity only,
First, I bought this product for work to leave in the vehicle so I can throw it on as an alternative to my full rain gear, and for when I don’t want to take the time to put on rain pants and I don’t expect to be in the rain for more than 30 minutes or will be back and forth between inside and out.The good news is it has kept me dry enough after 5 days and some long walks with the dogs in hard rain. The less than stellar news is, the bottom of the zipper starts above the belt-line. Which leaves the groin area and thighs exposed. The cheap plastic snaps work well enough, but half of them do not connect due to male to male matches or female to female matches. There is also no snaps between the bottom of the zipper and the middle of the shin.Another bit of good news is the material it is made of is thicker than I expected, but still pretty thin. All in all it is more than I expected and the shortcomings are acceptable to me for its intended use.I would recommend to someone only if they intended use for walking in areas without brush, working in areas free of snags and didn’t have electronics or items in pockets that should remain dry. This item is not a lifetime purchase. I’m hoping for one year and will be ecstatic if it last 2 years. For a far superior and durable item, buy a Pack-a-boo. This item is worth the price, especially if your expectations are low.

Will fit 3XL Tall Man
True to size, fits my 6’4” 300lb husband. He normally wears a 4XL but the rain slicker doesn’t come in that size so we took a chance on 3XL. It fits, a little snug, it zips and snaps and it is mid calf length. He’d be thrilled with a 4XL but this 3XL will get the job done.

Just what I was seeking!
Contrary to the myth, it does rain in Southern California from time-to-time and nothing is worse when there's a torrential downpour when ya have to get the dogs out. I purchased the Medium; I am female; 5'2" & approx. 140. I got the Medium so I could layer if I needed to. There is an underside drawstring, so it's adjustable. I also wanted a lightweight slicker b/c it's not always cold when it rains AND my favorite Columbia slicker finally died. This is lightweight, but a more quality product than my Columbia. It's was long on me (as expected), so I hemmed it 4" using my sewing machine using the largest stitch size and it worked smoothly. I could have used sticky back tape, but I like to wash my slickers at the end to the season and I don't think tape would hold up. You could just cut it to the length if you want. I like the option of snapping the bottom around the leg for when I ride my Vespa-like scooter (yes, even hemming it, I still can snap the ankles). The hood is removable and it has a nice (faux suede?) black collar. It's definitely waterproof. Again, I found it to be a quality product, but for those out on the ranch, I can see that it may not last with heavy duty work. There is a vent in the back, but no mesh which works fine for me. Happy trails for those wanting to stay dry in style! 2 weeks later: the removable hood unsnaps easily which is a pain when it is raining. I'm thinking of reinforcing it since the only time I wear it is when it rains, so the hood is necessary to the rain slicker.

a bit tight in the shoulders
Double-s Men's Adult Saddle Slicker so I ordered the appropriate size for my dad, he is a rather medium to slim weight, and normal with. The chest and wast and on down is plenty loose, But the shoulders and arms are a bit snug, to snug to have a very anything more than a lightweight jacket underneath.Or maybe another way to say it, the shoulders are fitted where the rest of it is not.

IT WILL HAVE TO DO.....FOR NOW.
It's VERY hard to find a full length rain coat, for fishing.......IE: standing in the Florida driving summer rain on deck, with no cabin. Need protection from not only getting upper body wet, but short pants and legs. Believe me I've looked! So had to go to something like this. Not super perfect. But will work. The hood is kinda smallish, and snaps on separately which is not a "plus". But it's light weight enough for 100 degree flash flood rains in Florida during the summer. The length of time wearing it won't be all day, just minutes to a hour or so. It's got a vented back, which will help. ORDER B-I-G!!!!!I ordered the Extra Large and it's just barely. If you're in a hot climate, you'll want a very loose fit. Shipping from Sheplers Western Wear was dead-on, "I think it was delivered PONY EXPRESS!!!!!". USPS delivered, so that meant DHL dropped it off at the post office. Really goofy. The material is thin and seems to be strong, the zipper may last a few wears, and it has back-up plastic snaps that are very tiny and may work in a pinch.CANNOT FIND EXACTLY WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A VERY LONG RAIN COAT, SO THIS WILL HAVE TO DO. WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE MAKE A SUPER LONG RAIN COAT THAT'LL LAST FOR YEARS, THATS LIGHT WEIGHT NOT FOR SITTING ON A SADDLE?? DON'T KNOW, BUT IF YOU'RE TIRED OF LOOKING. THIS MAYBE YOUR ALTERNATIVE.
