This shower mat is perfect. I am 5'1" and have a shower seat that is a little high. When soapy I have slipped right off the seat onto the floor because I had not enough anchor for my feet. This shower mat provides a firm grip for my feet so I don't slip off the seat. There are enough drain holes for the shower floor to remain drained and the mat is comfortable for my feet.

...plus, DON'T put it in the washing machine, because it is too heavy to balance in the drum. I added bath sheets to redistribute the weight, but that didn't work. Finally let it soak in the tub with a little Dawn, rinsed it, and that worked. Although I just can't understand why it needs washing at all. The search continues for a soft, non-slip mat...

This shower mat may look like just another cheap one but it's definitely not. First it does not have that plasticky or rubbery smell like cheap ones, it's durable enough to wash in the washing machine (no need to spin, set machine just to wash and rinse). And it's the perfect size for my walk-in shower. It totally works to prevent slipping, which is what I bought it for. It also catches my hair before it goes down the drain which is a bonus.

I was worried when I first got it because it said not to use on tiles but still gave it a try. Works good on the tiles and looks good in the shower. So far for cleaning I just make sure I remove any suds left over from shower and every couple of weeks pick up from tile so that it doesn't collect mildew around suction cups. Very happy with this purchase.

Great mat. Clings to shower floor without slipping. No odours like other mats. Very nice quality. Just wish they also had one that was longer so it covers more of the shower floor, like maybe 36-40” long. Had to buy two to cover my shower floor to ensure I didn’t slip after my surgery
