Q: are these sticky like theraband?

not at all. I use them often and are not sticky.

Q: Are these colors standardized levels of resistance among most brands?

The yellow one is the softest but it is not real soft. I have use it but never have made it to the others yest.

Q: Help! Description says they could be heated or chilled. But there are no instructions on the package that I received for heating or chilling?

This is what I found, To heat, simply place in the microwave for a few seconds(try for maybe 5 seconds, be careful not to overheat them and make sure to let it sit for 5 seconds before using because sometimes the heat gets hotter a few seconds after it comes out of the microwave). To chill, place in the refrigerator for a couple hours.
