i bought this runner for an elderly friend who lives in a mobile home and has two dogs. her front porch area has felt like rug on it and then a door with steps for the dogs to go outside and down the steps for her small play area and other duties. the dogs are getting older now and when it is very hot the steps are hard plastic and to much for the dogs. she puts wee wee pads on porch now but sometimes the leak. she was trying to scrub the felt clean every day. she now has the runner outside and puts wee wee pads on it, any leakage now goes on the runner . She thinks this is the best thing ever it is easy to clean , she pours cleaning solution and water on it and sweeps away to keep it clean.my friend can not say enough how much this has helped her.

I have no real words to describe this piece of junk. I don’t know how anyone could rate this as 5 stars - people’s expectations must be really low. This is described as heavy duty and states this won’t slip on wood floors etc. I could use this as a sled. It’s not rubber it’s plastic and to say this is a carpet runner is ridiculous. A runner has more of a flexible cushioned softness and sticks because it has a rubbery flex to it - this does not. It’s thin, and flimsy and while others say this lays flat or that you can put something heavy in this to have it lie flat - I don’t have the time to shave years off my life to wait for that to happen. This is a $30 plus dollar worth of garbage. This is the most disappointing thing I have ever purchased from Amazon and because I’m too lazy and do not want to wrap it back up with the stuff that stuck to it because the static from moving around the floor attracted dust I am going to keep this and toss it in the trash - this is money down the drain - nice try with the picture of putting this in a flat bed - this would slide right out if the hitch was open. I can’t even use this for a runner at my business if I wanted because I’d probably be sued - someone would either slip on it or trip on it because it refuses ti lie flat and moved all over the place - I’m still wondering how anyone gave this more than one star and I’m usually never the one to complain or care about bad reviews.

I have an area of my apartment that is dedicated to my water dispenser, kitchen trash and kitty feeding. I had a clear plastic runner protecting the carpet under all of that but it was thin and kept bunching up and it didn't look that great. This runner is heavier so it doesn't bunch up, it is a bit wider which is good and it is black which looks nice.

I bought this as one of a few housewarming gifts for my brother. I had to wait for him to finally move in and today I gave him this mat. What a disappointment when we opened the Amazon box. The grooves are full of little divets and bubbles. The mat itself is not flat with little hills and waves running throughout the surface, which I can see are not goingvto "settle" over time.If this is what made in USA has come to mean, then made in somewhere else looks good. It's so disappointing.It's too late for me to return this low quality, overpriced piece of vinyl, so all I can say is definitely DON'T BUY THIS mat.

Unfortunately, the quality of the product was not as described. The item was supposed to be 6 feet in length. We ordered two and one was 5 inches short and the other was 6.5 inches short.
