C7 Corvette Z06 1:24 Scale Diecast Model by Maisto

Ok, wasn't looking for a museum quality collectable - just wanted a reasonable clone of the Corvette CR-7 without having the actual CR-7 sitting on my desk @work - it's "ok" if someone were to "borrow" a $15 die cast - not ideal - but - I'd be a LOT more upset if someone was to walk-off with a $200 die cast replica of a AutoArt CR-7 (which I have on my collectors rack in my home office - reason why I'm saying CR-7 - YES this is NOT a CR-7 - BUT - if you look @photo's of CR-7's - this little model - with a few small painting details - can be made to look like a street replica of a CR-7 - which is very cool & all for about $20 - $15 for this model & the some additional model paint - yup - CR-7 all the way - very cool & super nice quality in the actual die cast form - nice detailing on the inside - certainly not museum as mentioned earlier - but pretty darn good ....

Very nice car. Great for décor but not so great for toddlers. My boy (age 3) likes this car and wants to play with it. After letting him play with it for a while he managed to break off the side view mirror. Good thing that putting the side view mirror back on was an easy fix. Great car but can't withstand toddler play.

You really can't get any better than this for the price. Yeah, it's not perfect. The rear taillights are red instead of white, rear brake vents are painted yellow instead of black, no brake calipers, center of spoiler is black instead of clear, wish the emblem and lettering was black instead of chrome, but yeah this is just nitpicking.For the price, you are getting one amazingly detailed diecast. After receiving it, I was much more happy with it in person than viewing on this page. You will not be disappointed!

I love this model and the yellow paint job is awesome! BUT the scale looks smaller than 1/24. Has anyone else noticed this? It does say 1/24 on the bottom.

I bought this model car for my husband as a gift, since his favorite car is a Chevy Hardtop Convertible in Yellow, and we can not afford the real one! It is true to it's design. The open doors and hood feature are perfect. When I gave it to my husband, his eyes lit up and he could not get enough of it. He wished he could be small enough to drive it around the apartment! It is now a fixture on our bookshelf for him to enjoy :)

Nicely made and finished! A true representation of the Z06!

So my 6 year old wanted a exact replica of my C7 and when he received this for Christmas he was blown away. He loves it and is always showing everyone he has a yellow Corvette like his daddy. Definitely not going to take a lot of abuse but for the money it's perfect
