I really like this thing!!
I like the fact that it can charge and be in use at the same time. I mostly love having hundreds of audiobooks etc. I still have to figure out how to play movies. Some stop after a few seconds. Could be my app. Love the thing though.

Works fine to feed a DAC from an iPAD or iPhone
I'm using this currently to feed a Schitt Modi 3+ DAC and then analog into an old A/V Receiver in my computer room. I'm running Spotify on the iPAD and it just works. I eventually will move this set up into another room and use it to feed an old school analog only Carver preamp. That way I will have what is called a "streamer/DAC" set up, but be able to play Spotify through my better stereo. Couple of things to note. My photo doesn't show it because I was running off the iPAD battery, but you CAN connect your iPAD power adapter cord into the Lightning port of the camera adapter to power your iPAD while doing the streaming. Then note too that I am powering the Schitt Modi 3+ DAC with its own power supply. And yes, this set up should work with most DACs (digital to analog converters) such as Dragonfly's 3 different level of USB DACs, those from Topping, and others. I am looking forward to Spotify rolling out their lossless CD quality streaming service later this year, but I see no reason other streaming services wouldn't work just as well such as Quobuz, Tidal, Amazon HD, and of course Apple Music. This is a nice way to repurpose an older iPAD and get into the wireless streaming/DAC game with better audio quality and do so relatively inexpensively. You can wait until later on to perhaps buy a dedicated streamer/DAC like the Bluesound Node if you want one. Some say there is a way to remotely control the iPAD using your phone if you want, but I have an Android phone so I'm not sure about that. You'll have to do your own research in that regard if it is important to you. Anyway, all in all, highly recommended if you love music and want far better quality than what comes out of the headphone jack of your phone or iPAD. (The DACs in these devices are not very good for audio, so bypassing them completely is the name of the game here). Enjoy.

Use all the time with charging my iPhone 14 pro
I use this device all the time with my iPhone 14 Pro while I am watching TV via my iPhone and hdmi cable portion of device. It’s easy to use. Can process up to 1080, but most reliant at 720 from my iPhone 14 Pro.

Great product to use, just one minor issue.
This product has been very useful for me with what I do for college. I really enjoy the value that this product gives for both the price and functionality. Only main issue I have is the exterior plastic the product is molded in. It's durable, but it has a cheap feel to it, though at this price point, that can be excusable, along with the functionality that this product gives. Just be mindful about this.

Doesn't Work!
I bought this to connect either a portable HD or flash drive to my iPad Air 2. Power is coming from a standard USB wall adaptor. The lights on the HD flash for a minute, then go out. Nothing mounts to the iPad. I tried several hard drives and flash drives and I tried to connect it to my iPhone with the same result. Big disappointment as I was hoping to be able to watch movies on my iPad that are stored on the external drive.

Use this to hook up a small keyboard music controller to my iPad Pro
I connected an Akai 25 keyboard to my iPad for making music in the GarageBand app. I use it for looping bass and drums and this can easily be done in a live setting. Sometimes I’ll even throw in some piano, horns, or organ in the mix. This rig along with a guitar can pull off a decent “One Man Band’! Have people throw money in a tip jar and you’re on your way sisters and brothers!

Transférer des photos de mon iPad Pro sur une chez USB. Lorsque que l’on connecte à un iPad, il faut ouvrir l’appli document qui sert de tremplin. Que je peux aussi connecter sur un ordi. Parfait pour moi.
