Merits P320 MP3C- Junior Power Wheelchair - Low Back

I bought this for my petite-sized wife to get around in the tight spaces of our home. However, it is not powerful enough to navigate the thick carpet in most of the house. I had to replace the thick shag carpet with a thin commercial grade carpet. Then the Merits P320 did its job!

I bought one used. I installed new batteries. It works fine BUT speed is SLOWSpecs say 4.5 mph NO WAY Other mobility chairs can speed away from me easily. I use it for walking my dog. Works great as we are not in a hurry anywayWhen I accompany my wife on a walk she constantly has to wait for me. It does not go at walking speed
