NA Review: Worth it(≧▽≦) - I love this series! The manga was of great quality too✨ Review: My most favourite volume of Hero Aca - This volume has some of the best chapters all put together in it. It starts from Mt. Lady's subtle but ever-present character development, which is super nuanced and easy to miss since her appearance in the manga is not upfront, with her being a side character. It then follows the UA students being put in the front lines when all heroes seem to be failing, guided by Momo, after getting instructions from Midnight, who... if you know, you know. Then there's some character moments of our favourite students sprinkled here and there, such as Mina's confidence, being thwarted by the recognition of a certain someone from her past, along with Kirishima being Kirishima in the best way possible. This is all followed by the main battle against Shigaraki, followed by Midoriya's reckless response to seeing the state of his mentors, along with a super cool quirk unlocking moment. Finally, we get a peek inside Bakugo's head in regards to his feelings towards Midoriya, and it's beyond amazing. Then there's the last chapter of the volume, no. 285, which is one of the most impactful chapters of the whole manga for me. SPOILER WARNING! There are some spoilers regarding the contents of this volume below. Read with caution. The volume extras and the amazing cover are just an added plus. There are some spoilers from here because I wanna go over my favourite extra sketches. The one right after chapter 284, which implies that Bakugo's thinking about how he may never get to talk to Midoriya about how he feels and how he wants to atone, followed by a sketch of middle school Bakugo looking at Midoriya ruining recklessly ruining his body with absolutely no regard for himself. I hate how too many people misunderstood Bakugo till before chapters 284 and 285, even though the events of chapters 272 and 274 happened. His atonement was something that didn't appear out of nowhere, and Bakugo had already made this decision right after the events of DvK2 (chapters 117 to 120). A lot of people seem to not get the story, even after the events of chapters 319 to 325, which solidified the fact that Bakugo does, in fact, care a lot more than you can imagine. To anyone reading this and being surprised by this, please read the story again. Properly.
