An ok planner
I am a bit of a planner connoisseur (stationery addict) and this is only ok really. It’s fairly basic in terms of actual physical quality - it’s a hard board cover that has a cheap faux leather texture but isn’t actually soft or flexible, the planner squeaks when you open it and I’m a little conscious that the spine might crack or wear in time. The pages are ok but they’re all very similar over and over, weeks 1-4 in a weekly timed spread with a monthly reflection at the end and a monthly goals page before the next 4 week section. It’s been a bit cheaply made with little attention to detail as those 4 week pages are reused through the planner - the same inspirational quotes are repeated like the pages are just copied and pasted through to the end. The start has only 1 page for long term goals or bigger plans, with 2 notes pages. I’ve used some amazing planners in the past that have big sections for goals, reasons why you want to achieve them, action plans to get there, mind maps etc. This is a very basic, boring planner. The only real benefit is that it’s half the price of the competitor brands I rate highly. At £16.49, it’s not cheap for what’s essentially a basic weekly diary, but the beautiful planners I would chose over this are £25-30. So this would be ideal for a smaller planner you could throw in a bag or use for work, that you wouldn’t mind getting a bit scruffy along the way.

Really nice journal that allows you to plan by the hour
This is a really nice day-by-day journal that fits all 7 days of the week across 2 pages. Each day has its own column beginning with 'daily goal', 'do first', 'do later', delegate', and 'eliminate'. It then gives most of the space to letting you plan out your days using rows with a 'time' column and a 'details' column. So, for example, you could have 10:00am - meeting with Steve. Finally, there is a 'notes' section at the bottom.Within the journal there are 12 * 4 weeks (so not a full calendar year, but 12 months). The date is not written on the top of the page, instead you write it in. I honestly prefer this style of journal as it means you don't need to wait until the start of the year to use it!The journal begins with a section explaining the aim of the journal and how to fill it out. It then provides a number of activities to engage you and make the most of the year ahead. Every 2 weeks the journal alternates between providing creative space and then space for reflection/planning of the month previous/ahead.I think the journal looks really great. Every page is full of colour - red, blue, green, yellow, etc and it has a nice modern vibe to it that should suit most people. The cover of the journal is very firm and solid, so protects the contents well. The brain graphic and MIND MASTERY logo on the front both look smart. The pages themselves are thick and of high quality too. It has a very premium feel.I guess my only complaint would be that the space to write things down on the various days is pretty small, but it's not unusable - you just need to adopt a small style and stick with it, knowing that you won't be able to write too much detail. The benefit is that you can see an entire week at all times and, of course, the journal is a manageable size.Overall, I really like this journal. I think it allows you to make plans, be creative, and because of this and how great it looks it's really easy and tempting to pick up and use.

Helps the unorganised (me), be very organised!
A lovely notepad with a soft faux leather cover, covering every hour of every day!In my job I always have a million and one things to do or remember, which usually ends up in me being forgetful or losing my notes as there were kept across multiple notepads and scraps of paper. This has helped improve my issues massively, there are lots of places to scribble down notes. I particularly like the categories inside under each day such as 'do first' and 'do later', I just wish there was a 'do never' one for those odd few tasks I wish I could forget about haha. Each week is spread out over the two pages from Monday to Sunday and split into hours throughout the day, allowing you to plan for every hour of the day!Overall a great notepad and would make a perfect gift.
