Tonka Tool Truck Fire Truck with Jaws of Life

I bought this for my son because he was obsessed with the jaws of life on Fireman Sam. The firetruck is disappointing in that it is not the sturdy make that I remember Tonka being when I was a child. The back of the truck that opens does not close easily so my son is always asking me to close it for him. However, I bought this for the Jaws and they are absolutely outstanding. Mechanical open and close with a button, very sturdy with drops/falls etc, very realistic. I was prepared to pay this price just for the Jaws so the truck was an extra anyway. I highly recommend for the Jaws.

Was very excited when I seen this my son has a huge love of big trucks and the fact that it came with a pretty cool looking jaws of life to play with I was more then positive that he would enjoy it. When the package arrived to the house what he got was not what was described. the truck itself is pretty flimsy, the plastic is light and probably wouldnt hold up to a 3 year old playing for long, the jaws of life, did not work and the back would not stay closed while he was trying to play with it... when looking it up online to see if it was normal for the back to stay open or the jaws of life not to work i learned there was a factory defect on the jaws of life and other issues with the truck itself.. got it I know its a toy, but if there is a defect on the item it should be listed one amazon as well...

My granddaughter is a big fire man Sam fan. And kept talking about jaws of life. I purchased this for the jaws of life and was happily surprised at hue great the fire truck is granddaughter plays with jaws and her brother uses the truck. Win win

Tool does not work properly

ordered item for childs xmas gift, when i opened it found the WRONG ITEM.!!!..had no chioce but to give wrong gift, so couldn't return it..waste of money as all we wanted were the jaws of life..

My 3 year old Grandson was absolutely thrilled with this truck and plays with it endlessly when he visits Grannie's house.
