Buy it. Way better than soaker hose.
I’ve had many soaker hoses and they were always just ok until I bought these. Rubber soakers are basically the appearance and texture of dry rotted rubber hose. Brittle, porous, inconsistently leaky etc. I took a chance on these hose not knowing what to expect. They can best be described as a traditional poly composite hose but image in was held together by stitches lengthwise. But at each one of the stitch points, there was a leak. A one drop by drop evenly spaced leak at each and every stitch (maybe ever 1\8” just guessing). Well that’s what this seems like. And it’s perfect. Solid material feels like tie down straps like that braided nylon. I have 150’ that nearly encircles my house at the foundation. The same amount drips at ehe beginning of the line as it does at the end. Uniform pressure distribution. You don’t get that with soaker hose. Anyway most excited review I’ve ever written because I don’t think people know about this and I’m Texas, we need it right now. So please buy it and come back and give me a thumbs up when it works like I said it does.

Love the water delivery method, BUT...
Love this soaker hose. It has very even watering and seemed to work well. There are now areas in the hose that are developing these leaks (pictured) and they keep growing with every use. It still seems to be working fine, but it is flooding the areas this occured. Has not been run over with mower, allowed to freeze or been kinked, but I may have just received a defective hose. This began happening about a month after I installed.I plan on buying another and trying again since I loved it so much.

Split Hose
The inner hose split after two weeks, resulting in too much water at one end and not enough at the other. Thought about returning it, but it’s not worth the effort. I cut off the final 4 inches with the split and it seems to work now.

Small, Flat, Soaker Hose
When I saw how tiny the box for this soaker hose was -- and how light -- I was sure that I would hate it. But it works incredibly well, at least in the 15-foot length. The hose is not rubber but rather nylon fabric, and the water leaks out of it to truly soak the ground around it. This is not a slow soaker but rather a rapid one because it doesn't have holes, just the natural ones in nylon fabric.I bought this for two side-by-side raised garden boxes for use (on a timer) when I'm out of town and cannot water them by hand. In a mere 8 minutes, the boxes were leaking water out of the bottom -- that's how much and how fast water comes out. The 15-ft length covers both boxes with two passes. Although it's not enough to get to all roots, the amount of water coming out eventually soaks into surrounding soil. For regular gardens, the length will be much too short.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Hoses are good, customer service is GREAT
Had trouble with the first hose I bought as the water was spraying out in one area which meant there wasn't enough water throughout the rest of the hose to get an even soaking. Customer service immediately sent a second. Had a similar issue. They sent another right away, and the third time was a charm. So, this is basically a no-risk purchase as they stick by their warranty and are quick to help if you have a problem. That said, a couple tips:- Use a regular hose to connect the soaker hose to your spigot/timer (I went with a 3-foot hose to reach the ground so the soaker wasn't hanging in the air).- The first time you turn the spigot on, start with a trickle and slowly add more pressure until you get the proper soaking rate--if you start with the pressure too high you could blow the hose seam.- I connected two 50-foot soaker hoses and don't recommend more than that in order to maintain the right water rate for an even soaking. There is also a PVC version of this hose (same soaking deal but not flat; it's like a traditional garden hose) which seems to have a better soaking rate and it will probably be more durable given the stronger material.
