Keymecher Mano Max Oversized Wired Multi-Gesture Trackpad for Windows 7 and 10, USB Slim Touchpad Mouse for Computer, Notebook, PC and Laptop (Aluminum Black, Support Windows Precision Touchpad)

I wanted something like Magic Trackpad. My employer gave me a locked-up Windows machine, on which Apple's Magic Trackpad won't work well. Laptop's trackpad was small, so I wanted something big. I have a mouse, but ergonomic-wise, it is nice to have a trackpad to use alternatively. When I ordered Keymecher Mano Max, I was not expecting a Magic Trackpad. But I wanted something that at least works like the built-in trackpad on my laptop. But no. The experience was pretty bad.

The first unit I received had a bubble under the pad in the lower right hand corner. (see attached picture. Bubble circled) I returned it for a replacement. The second unit appeared in very good condition, however after one week of use, the pad began to delaminate from the base along the front edge. (See two other pictures. One picture is what it "Should" look like. A red arrow is pointing at the gap between the pad and base on the other picture)The unit still works, so I am going to attempt to glue the pad down. I do not want to go through another return.I purchased this because my job requires me to do a lot of moussing and I was beginning to develop "mouse elbow". I think this will help reduce this issue.I live in a very dry area, so static build up and "shock" are very common. If I do not touch something to discharge myself before I touch the pad, I will experience a mild shock and the pad stops working. If I unplug and re-plug the unit in, it begins working again. Not a defect in the unit, just an observation.When the pad sits idle for several minutes it seems to go to sleep and sometimes I have to unplug it and re-plug it in again to get it working again.There are other times when getting the pad to react to a tap which is equivalent to a left mouse button click can be difficult. If I use the left mouse button feature on either lower corners or the top left of the pad, the tap function begins working again.None of this is a show stopper, however it can be a bit annoying at times.It has some neat features which make it very handy. The pad size is excellent. The scroll bars on either edge work like a mouse scroll wheel and work well. The two quick taps equals a left mouse button click and hold works really well. This is extremely handy!Overall I like it. Just know you may experience some idiosyncrasies if you purchase one.I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because of the pad delamination.I hope this information is helpful to those considering purchasing one of these touch pads.

I guess you could call this track pad somewhat of an equivalent to an Apple Magic Track Pad.
